Following the events of the tragic deaths of Michael Brown and several others, the Black Lives Matter movement has begun. I support this movement whole-heartedly without a doubt. Death is never an easy thing to copy with, whether it’s from a criminal or an innocent bystander.

The fact that several children and adults are being targeted and losing their lives unjustly based on their skin color is absolutely outrageous and ridiculous. Racial profiling is the discriminatory practice by law enforcement officials of targeting individuals for suspicion of crime based on the individuals race, ethnicity, religion or national origin. African American in America are targeted for their race and many lose their lives over this false justice. We’ve seen many African Americans lose their life to racial profiling such as Travon Martin, Tamir Rice, and John Crawford, etc. …show more content…

There is police brutality going on in not just American but all over the world. In 1991, Rodney King and his companions were unarmed and brutally beat by police officers. In 2014, Michael Brown was also unarmed and shot 12 times by a police officer. Also in 2014, Eric Gardner was put in a choke hold for 15 seconds by police officers. They showed no remorse, as Gardner repeated 11 times that he couldn’t breathe while they held him down. The fact that there are some who actually applaud the police and think them as heroes as they repeatedly trample upon humans and their rights and treat their lives as game in truly sickening. Those police officers are clearly arrogant monsters who believe that they can do whatever they want as long as they have the law on their side as a justification for their heinous
