The Blind Side is an award winning movie, based on a true story. It tells the story of an African American Boy, Michael Oher, who gets adopted by the Touhy family. The movie references the children’s book Ferdinand the Bull. After the Tuohy family reads this book Ms Tuohy says that Michaels her Ferdinand. The movie shows the similarities and differences between Ferdinand and Michael. The movie shows how Michael is similar to Ferdinand by how he gets distracted by simple things. They both are put into position where they are supposed to be aggressive but they are shown as calm and independent. This is shown in the scene where Michael needs to play Football but he gets distracted by balloons and in the book Ferdinand get distracted by the smell
