One time when I was about three years old, I went canooing in Mr.Daves canoo. I don't remember much, but I remember having lots of fun. I had to wear a life jacket. One thing I don't remeber is where I was. I remember that we were on a lake. I'm guessing that it was in the middle of summer. The canoo was brown and big, too. Well, thats all I can
On the way back to the main island, we were riding in the boat when all of a sudden we saw
It was an annual tradition for my dad’s side of the family to get together at this campground over Fourth-of-July weekend. All of the cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even some friends would be there. I was only eleven and it was a special year because I got to bring my friend Rachelle with me on this trip. We planned on swimming in the lake, tubing behind the boat, fishing, and playing yard games like bean bags and ladder-ball. Tubing was my favorite. There was no better feeling than the rush of falling off and bouncing across the water like a skipping stone.
The next day was hot and humid, so we waited until it was dark to go. It was about 11:00 pm until we were satisfied with the temperature. My Mom, aunt Shannon, cousin Reed, and I all got into the car, and began our trip to the lake. On arrival, I could already see the water rushing around, crashing into the concrete walls. A few people were fishing on the end with no walls, just big rocks here and there. There were some lights shining, with different insects buzzing around them, so you could see.
On Saturday, I had the chance to attend the recital of Antonio “Nio” Ajero at the Cole Concert Hall on campus. It was an interesting and unforgettable experience, Nio, is a young boy with impeccable talent. I didn’t really know what to expect when I decided to attend the event since I had never even been to a piano recital for anyone, especially not one for a child. As the Hall began to fill, the lights dimmed and Nio, greeted the audience with a bow, his father was also there. When he started playing it was a harmonious feeling that filled the air, he played with such emotion. He seemed to become one with the piano, they seemed to morph into one soul. At this point in the show I was already in shock that a child could play the piano that well
On my 7th birthday my mom, dad, brother, my grandma and grandpa and I all went to Kemah Boardwalk it was right by the the cool gulf of Mexico. I went on all the fun rides except 2. One of the rides I went on was a train that would go in a dark tunnel then “BOOM” it was a gun showdown but of course it was fake. Then I went on a ride that you were in a circularised room with big windows. We would go up and a person would talk to you about the gulf of Mexico and you could see the gulf of Mexico. My head was getting dizzy so I sat down. Then I went on a roller coaster that was made entirely out of wood the one thing that was not out of wood was under the cool cart. It was huge. When we went on it was crazy at one point we went straight down when I got off my stomach was in a knot I felt like I was going to throw up.
We got to Camp Ernst and our parents dropped us off and we said our goodbyes. Our cabin was in the valley with other cabins with people around our age. We got go go swimming in the pool and the lake and we also went on the banana boat. After dinner some of us left our group to go to horse camp. They kept the houses in a stable at the bottom of a big hill. It was the first day of camp so everyone got to pick a horse and it was my first time going, so I didn't know the horses very well, but I picked one named Charlie. Charlie was a big brown horse.
One day in Canada, I was just little pieces of polymer. And one of my friends were specks of sand. It was a very busy day. People kept walking and stepping on me and my friend. People never saw us on the ground as we were only just raw materials.
A few weeks ago I was sitting in my old dusty chair watching the news. I was just thinking about the day’s work ahead of me, and wondering if my body will make it through the day. I heard a car door slam. I imagined that it was my wife pulling in, but that would be impossible. I wondered who it could be. I do not get many visitors this time of year, not in the off-season. Could it be the fella that was on the news? They said a girl was murdered in Iowa and the suspect got away, and may be on his way to Canada. Then a loud knock on the door filled the empty room. I got out of my chair slowly, like a pregnant woman would, and made my way to the door. I could hear a creak with every step I took, and only God knows if it came from the floor, or these knobby knees.
It was frightening, nerve-wracking, and stressful. It is like the feeling when you get bitten by a bug. It all started when I was in Chicago, Illinois to spend the summer with my cousins. Our uncle said we were all going to go to Wisconsin Dells. We were so happy and excited to go, but we did not believe him. He then shows us the tickets he bought and we went straight to packing.
Author's Note: The Choreo awards was amazing because I got meet the actual characters in my book for the first time. It was odd because the people I idolized for so long, suddenly became more human. If you'd like to know all of the juicy details on my night, feel free to PM me :) Also because of this wonderful occasion I didn't have time to write for 2 days, but don't fear, I will try to get back into my writing routine for you guys. This chapter is longer than usual to make up for lost time.
When I was young my Dad would always remind me of how important these years as a kid are. He would always say watch how you act as a kid, for it will set the stage for the rest of your life. So many people I know ruined their lives when they were kids. This small, yet so important statement runs through my mind everyday. I love how everyone says they don’t care what people think of them, but I wish they knew how important it is to have a good image. I am not perfect, but I would like to be close as possible. But as Salvador Dali said “Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it. “ The problem I see is everyone wanting to be someone that they are not. Sure, we all have our idols that we look
In June 2015, I ventured across Canada for the Encounters with Canada Program, along with my friends Luke and Edward. The program involved touring Ottawa with a group of young adults, seeing the various attractions and making friends along the way. Being a shy and occasionally introverted individual, who often had trouble fitting into new schools, I was nervous going into the flight. However, having two friends with me opened me up to new people, as I would rarely approach anyone myself. Soon after arriving, Luke and I took to playing ping-pong, and Edward started a conversation with our peers. Curious, I found myself drawn into the conversation, and eventually I was talking openly with others in our group, whereas unescorted, would have been
Once we got out there is was scary my friend drove me around and we went about 40 mph. I almost flew off the jet ski into the water. After that we got to a cove where we just relaxed and swam for a little bit. Then we went back after a while to eat dinner. We ate then we got in the hot tub and relaxed. The second day we went to the “jumping bridge”. That was so scary because we were all standing on the ledge a bridge while they counted down. It felt like free falling and I was terrified. After that I got to drive the jet ski. I was super excited. I was driving and a big wake came at us so I slowed down and the wake came over the nose and soaked Trey’s dad and I. We got home swam, and had a good

We went downtown in mackinaw there is a haunted building we were going to but are dad had a meating and you walk or ride in a carriage. Went to a toys and got to see how they make laffy taffy the flavor was bubblegum We got to eat some. I Didn't like it really then we got to buy stuff I got a toy and a shirt. We got to see a wedding later late night. We went mini golfing these glow after it was hard because it was dark we saw this huge toad and bats were everywhere. When
I remember the water was cold, but it was hot outside, so the water felt good (Compound). We didn’t have our swimsuits on because we didn’t think we would get wet. Before we knew it. We were floating out in the amazing lake(Complex).
