Obsessed with revenge, the victim, now codenamed “Carnage”, has been wandering the hallways of the underground facility, spreading its bone killing serum disease. The Subject has also replaced its eyes with rusty syringes; each syringe still filled with the decaying bone serum. "Carnage" lurks in the bloody hallways, it sprints to any human like sound, it pounces on its victim when alerted, and ultimately injects its victim with the god forsaken serum held in its eye sockets. “Carnage" is a very nimble and dangerous creature to both humans and other creatures alike. This type of creature can sprint towards it victims with unrelenting speed and will not stop until it is either satisfied with its infectious kill or mislead towards another unlucky
On Saturday night, August 29th, a bear reportedly attacked two men. The incident occurred around 8pm, northwest of Cochrane in an area known as Ghost public land use zone. One of the victims of the bear attack told EMS paramedics that he was riding an all-terrain vehicle, and the other man was on a dirt bike, when they encountered a bear and cubs. “The bears attacked them knocking them from their vehicles. They had to deploy bear spray, and in a short time, the bear and the cubs departed the vicinity.” Says Adam Loria with EMS. “We heard something,” says Cam Steffen. “We weren’t sure if it was the cows and then it got louder. We heard it again and it was someone calling for help.” In the next couple minutes, EMS responded to an along Highway
Scanning the darkness from left to right, seeing near where he stood, he first took in the main counter, seeing it being configured as an “L” shape. He then looked through its transparent fronts, seeing the remains of small and empty displays. Even through the dimness brought by the open door, he could tell their whiteness was dust covered. His eyes lifted, looking beyond the main counter, and then scanned slightly right. Seeing further into the depth of the room, and on its other side, sat a set of two counters travelling the far wall. Both, butted end-to-end, they led to a back area he could not fully see. He assumed that was where the back entryway was and where the killer entered.
The answer to question number two, is as follows: In this case there were a series of unfortunate events that could have been avoided. First and most importantly, the death of Tara (victim). When Robert told Dr. Douglas that he wanted to kill his girlfriend Tara, Dr. Douglas had the legal obligation of notifying authorities and should have had Robert (his patient) hospitalized against his will. Psychiatrists who knowingly do not report such information are subject to civil suits as well as disciplinary action from licensing authorities.
Robert Elias' book, 'Victims Still';, presents a very controversial stance that the victims' movement is, perhaps, not at all. Elias suggests that all the programs, laws, and institutions that have been created in the 1980s and 1990s have done absolutely nothing to help the victim. Elias also offers explanations as to how the victims' movement doesn't help victims, what the real causes of crime are, and how crime should be controlled.
A serial killer is a person who kills a number of people. They act in a series of 5 or more murders with a break period between each murder. Serial killers can go for months and years before they are usually caught. The victim is most likely the same for every killer- a prostitute or a hitchhiker -someone who, if they were to go missing would probably not be noticed (cite). Their victims may also have the same or similar attributes in gender, age, race or general look. Serial killers also stick by their modus operandi closely but may change it with when needed.
1- the most obvious and important reason of all is the blood spatter analysis, if you look at the blood pattern on the wall and see that he is holding the gun in his right hand, it just doesn't add up. The blood spatter on the wall suggests that the energy came from the opposing end of the room I.e (left hand self inflicted gunshot or that someone shot him from the left side of the head).
Every year in this country, we have about twenty serial killers. Ten of whom are apprehended, ten of whom are on the loose. And they are, in total, responsible for some 200 deaths. So, 200 victims of serial killers on a yearly basis. And what makes this particularly important for us, is that the average serial killer is responsible for 10 deaths. That’s a huge body
In order to properly assist a victim in their path through the Criminal Justice System you will first need to get her emergency medical treatment. Especially when dealing with a victim who has suffered severe bodily harm. The victim will need to spend some time in a medical facility in order to recover. While being treated the victim will also need to be seen by a sexual assault nurse examiner if she was the victim of rape.
The article, "The Forgotten Victim from Florence and Normandie" by Steve Lopez argues that good and bad people come in all colors. The details Lopez included of Fidel's experience during the LA Riots were horrifying, but the author is also making a larger point about race in Los Angeles. Lopez went door to door until he finally found Fidel Lopez, that is when he discovered how long he’s been waiting for his tragedy to be heard. His story was full of anger and compassion; it gave us a vivid idea of how the night of LA Riot really was. He was kicked, violently beaten, spray painted black and LAPD was nowhere to be found. The author provides a powerful quote, “Lopez made no appeal for sympathy as he told his story, but he still finds it unfathomable

Studying child trauma has become increasingly popular to gain a wider understanding of the issue. It is estimated that around one in three children exposed to trauma do develop PTSD (Fletcher, 2003). Child PTSD has been widely observed in children who witness violent crimes (Schwarz & Kowalski, 1991) or whom have survived severe traumatic events. Children directly or indirectly exposed to war conflict experience a variety of stressors, and many develop both short-term and long-term post-traumatic stress reactions (Barenbaum, Ruchkin & Schwab‐Stone, 2004). Common reactions after a traumatic experience include; fear, numbness, anger, change in sleep and appetite, nightmares, avoidance of certain situations and some also experience feelings of
On 17-Aug-15, at approximately 00:15 the ILA was advised by a student that Victim 1 was having a seizure. The ILA immediately notified the Wellness Manager who was on Center due to another incident. The article written about the anonymous victim at Cornell University, relates greatly with this module, as one is able to define the importance of the United States Constitution (9). As mentioned in Chapter 2, it was groups such as the framers, who helped create a system of checks and balances, in order for the government to abstain from abusing or distorting our constitutions’ political values (10). The political values established by the Bill of Rights, include our freedom of speech, religion and assembly (11). While the United States has increased in its diversity of immigrants, it has maintained shared beliefs on how the government should function, which includes the removal of segregation and the equality of all people (12). Victims of heinous crimes know all too well the horrid road of recovery that lies ahead: what about the true victims? The wrongly accused, the people who are pushed to the breaking point without having committed any crime but are still prosecuted, are the real victims.
The history of victimology travels further back in time than most would realize. The concept of the victim emerged from the many attempts of many societies and peoples to explain both the reasons behind victimization and the appropriate action to be taken as a result of it (Burgess et al., 2013). As a concept, it can be difficult to define victimology, since each individual defines the term differently. According to the text utilized for this class, victimology is defined as being the study of the victim, including the offender and society. It is also seen as being a social-structural way of viewing the relationships between crime and the law as well as the criminal and the victim (Burgess et al, 2013)..
