The Changover: A Short Story Essay

Right after she said that, she went silent. I wondered why she was not mentioning anything about her meeting with my teacher, Mr. Frick. I became very anxious, even though I could not recall a time when Mr. Frick had gotten

"Where are you going at this time of day?" she shouted. "Playing hooky, I suppose. I'll just call the principal and tell him!" She looked like the ugliest thing I had ever seen. Oh, did I ever hate her.

“Yeah Vanessa, I thought we were too! Now it turns out that you’re just a backstabbing brat!” Harper yelled, harshly.

“Well, boys. I knew someone would understand the clue. And I knew that someone, was you Clay.” Hannah says slowly.

“Hey, you!” shouted a voice far down in the hallway. “So you’re the new girl, huh?”

“That’s the puzzle. It makes no sense. But not all is lost. Katy is working on that angle right now.”

“Chace held me just like he did at the creek party. Only this time he brushed his lips against my temple. I felt this fluttering in my stomach. After that, I wanted him to kiss me.”

“You weren’t going to tell me. You were going to sneak out again. You know how I feel about you. You know I would go crazy if anything happened to you.”

When I walked into TA class crying like crazy, my teacher got really worried. She realized that the fight between my friend and I got out of hand, and it was starting to hurt me. So, she called the two of us together to fix it.

“Emily all you care about is showing me, Brad your boyfriend, to your friends. And you proved it tonight too. You were even planning how to walk in and how I should look at you.”

"Like I said, mind your own damn business." Jaylee heard him mutter "bitch" under his breath, and she rolled her eyes again. Luke was moodier than a girl on her period, and that was saying a lot.

“Well all of your friends are missing. All of them. Blaire, Jeremy, Chris, and Amanda. They’re all just gone and the only connection is you.”

“Because I like you. And I feel Tre will be happiest with you. Now, don’t this the wrong way, but I feel that Tia girl is the better fit for him, but something about you makes him gives off this happy vibe. Happiest can beat out the better fit if you know how to move the pieces the right way. Back to the lesson…”

“Oh, thank god. I thought you’d ask what to do to get Kurt to be a bondage boy and I’ve got nothing for that. Unless you do a musical. Kurt would make a badass villain. And what makes you think they haven’t been together two years?” Sebastian asks.

Then the teacher walked over to me. I really hoped I wasn't in trouble. She didn't look mad. She actually looked really kind, like she would help me.
