It all began with a simple phone call one night after dinner. “Joe,” my dad hollered up the stairs, “it’s for you. It’s Jackie, and she sounds scared.” As I treaded down stairs to pick up the phone, I was nervous. Jackie usually never calls me on the phone unless it’s something serious, and my dad telling me she sounded scared made it worse. Approximately 30 minutes passed at Jackie whips her silver Mustang convertible into our driveway, and Jackie was leaning on the horn before the car came to a complete stop. Grabbing my coat from the couch, I sprinted out my front door faster than i’ve ran in my whole life. I got immediately in her car and we drove away. I’ve never seen Jackie so scared in my life. She was driving at least 20 miles over …show more content…
I promise I will help you with whatever it is. “It’s a lot to comprehend Joe, I’m afraid to say anything because they might find me. “Who might find you? “Ugh…”, Jackie sighed, “Joe...They killed my parents. My parents are dead”. I was in complete shock. I had no idea something so tragic had occurred. I just thought that Jackie was overreacting about something minor as she usually does. “Who killed your parents Jackie? What is going on!”, I yelled as I realized I was so out of the loop. This was all too much for one moment. First the gash on her neck and now I find out her parents are dead. I started to wonder if she was crazy, how could they be dead and she just wanted to run away? Something had to be wrong, this could not be happening. “Who killed them Jackie? Tell me something already!” “I can’t tell you Joe, you don’t understand but I just can’t” “Can you atleast tell me how you got that cut on your neck?”. “Later Joe, I’ll tell you after we leave this place and get farther from home. I don’t feel safe here.”. I didn’t know what to do so I felt like I had no choice but to listen. We got into Jackies car and started driving. As we were driving, I constantly tried to get her to tell me something...Just anything would be helpful. Little did I know just what I was getting myself

Suddenly Stew had taken a bullet, then Mike, Dana, and finally Stewart. The men that had shot at them claimed that they were cops and called themselves The Boss, J.R. and Hatchet Face. Sandra asked herself many questions like, ‘If he’s a cop, he would've answered my questions’ or ‘Wouldn't a real police man let me sit down?’ but she never said anything out loud because she didn’t want to make the men mad. Sandra had been the only one left in the car alone with J.R. he started making commands at her and soon J.R. had raped Sandra. The idea was to kill

Goodluck having a good time now,” Laurel walked away cackling like a witch. Jackie looked around at all the people she considered to be her friends. Every single one of them chose Laurel over her. Jackie took one last look at the people she once had loved and turned around. She ran as fast as she could in her too tight jeans to the soccer bleachers. She ran up to the very top of them and went into the corner where the top fence met the side railing and sat down. She looked up at the sky trying to get the tears to go back into her eyes, but her efforts were fruitless. She gave up and let the tears pour out of her eyes. Jackie never cried, but now, more than ever, she couldn’t hold it in. Every emotion she had held inside of her from the past few days was coming out now. She cried for what seemed like forever. After her reservoir of tears was all dried up Jackie pulled herself together and got her phone out to text her dad to come and get

She was full of emotions as it was a bittersweet feeling. Jess had never been inside such a huge house. She stood paralyzed at the door, afraid to knock. Finally she built the confidence to knock. After how long I have waited, I did not want to get that trip taken away. I dreadfully got back into the car, realizing I needed to be quiet and not say anything because it made the situation worse. Minutes dripped by slowly slipping through my mind. My phone was taken away so I could not blank everybody out through music. The car ride was long and enduring even though no one had talked so it seemed to move faster. It started off as a whisper and I could tell something was up due to my dad’s facial expression. He started yelling at my mom over the situation and that she should have just left me alone. I agreed with him strongly nonetheless I did not like seeing my mom upset and flustered. Out of nowhere, words slipped from my mouth and passed through the car hitting my dad hard. I was sticking up for my mom because it was instinct. I realized that this whole thing was my fault and our family time had been destroyed speedily over an issue that could have been resolved so easily. My dad pushed his foot on the pedal accelerating the car and made a sharp turn getting onto an
Hello, my name is Jackie Evancho! Nice to meet you! Today, I am going to tell you about myself.
“Sierra, will you come outside please, your mom and I have something we’d like to talk to you about”. These words coming out of my father’s mouth instantly filled my mind with nerves. What was it that they had to tell me? It was just a normal, beautiful, sunny June day, and little did I know that this perfect day was soon to be wrecked by the news I was about to receive.
