“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough” (Oprah Winfrey). It is very important to be thankful for what you have because many people have no one by their side to love or care for them. Also, there are some people that can’t afford a home and have no food to eat. You shouldn’t take life for granted because there are many less unfortunate people. I am thankful for my family, my grandparents, and my pets. I am very thankful for my family because they provide food for me and a roof over my head. My family always cheers me on during sports no matter if I win or lose because they know I tried my hardest. They also support me by coming to every single one of my soccer games and track meets that I have. I know that my parents love me because they tell me almost every day. My sister doesn’t say that she loves me that often, but I know in her heart she does because we always get along and she invites me to do certain activities with her friends. My family treats me with dignity and respect because they know I can handle certain things rather than when I could when I was five years old. I am thankful that my grandparents make the time to come see my family and I. My grandparents try to come and visit twice a year and cheer me on any activities that I have whenever they are visiting. I also know that my grandparents love me because they show me they love me and they give me unnecessary gifts whenever they come to visit. My grandparents also surprise me with fun activities to do whenever they come to town or whenever my family and I visit them. My grandparents always call to see how my family and I are doing and to see how my pets are
