John Dewey once said, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” I never thought education was extremely significant when I was in elementary. But, I was sure lucky to be able to get educated, some of us never realized how fortunate we are. Quality education is quite difficult to find, maybe even education itself is hard to discover to certain people. It’s also hard to find quality teachers/staff and schools. I realized that problem many times.
The bell rang, we walked into the classroom. My class noticed that our teacher, Mrs. Barragan, was gone. Instead, we saw this man in his late 20s with red hair. He was our sub. We all sat down in our assigned seats and listened to our substitute.
He greeted us lazily,

Some students giggled and followed along to what he said. Mr. Montoya told us to get the assignment and start to work on it. Some of the class was going off-topic and started to get loud and talkative.
“Quiet down!” Mr. Montoya told us.
We became silent for a few seconds. A few minutes later, we started to get noisy and chatty again. Mr. Montoya told us the same thing, to quiet down. But we always ended up becoming noisy again. For the 3rd time, he explained to us how lucky we were.
“You guys should be glad you’re actually getting educated!” Mr. Montoya lectured, “There are people out there who don’t even have food, water, or education! You should be really joyful you’re sitting here with enough food and electricity.”
Mr. Montoya continued to lecture us and then stopped, “Hope you guys learned your lesson.” The bell rang and we were dismissed. What a day!
To conclude, I was able to realize how education is really important and how it decides our future. There are students in my class who haven’t noticed it yet. Education is very important in our lives, it decides our future. Our education is very important unless you want to work at a fast food restaurant, which is not the best choice. People who want to achieve high like becoming a doctor, dentist, or lawyer will need to
After reading Frank Conroy's "Think About It", it is clear that education play vital role in our life. It is the main tool for us to succeed in life and achieve something different in a competitive world. Education is what help us to know the meaning of difficulty in our life. “Education means emancipation”, a quote by Frederick Douglas, a leader to many, in order to inspire those lost and without hope of continuing their education, and finally uplift them and illuminated their path to a road lit with knowledge and excellence. The same determination has been inscribed to many parents in this country, so they can guide their own children to this road. Their sacrifices were great ones, especially if their children are first generation college students. For many, education is not only a direction to achieve excellence, but a form of gratitude to those who have sacrificed a lot. It is important to inspire future leaders today, in order to build a better tomorrow.

Education opens your mind to the world around you. It gives you knowledge about how things actually work and help you find a job that will support you and your future. Sadly, only 77% of students graduate from high school and 24 other countries beat the U.S Rate of Educational Improvement according to Harvard’s Program on Educational Policy and Governance. While students are overly focused on extracurricular activities like sports, they aren’t learning enough to succeed to their full
Education has grew so much over time, to just basic math and reading to now. Where we have all sorts of math; algebra, geometry, calculus and even more; And every other subject has gotten so much more advanced as well. Sometimes some of it can be so pointless. But even though I think some of the material may be pointless and some of it probably is, it has impacted me and still is to this day. Education is a very important because it is a step that helps prepare us for the world. Though over the years education has changed, the concept is still the same, helping and teaching us for our future. Education has helped me even though some of it may not always been easy, it has helped me to learn new things, to gain knowledge, and understanding of

I could barely hear what was being said but body language showed that the student was frustrated and that Dr. Benson understood why and how to help accommodate the student. Once he took time with one student he allowed them to continue on their own, while he moved to the next student.
The teacher, Mr. Burgess, walked into the classroom and addressed the class, “Hello everyone, I’m Mr.Burgess.” Class continued as the teacher explained how the class was going to go and he went over the syllabus.
Hernandez stated that at the beginning of the second class Carroll gave him a look like he was surprised that he came back. He said that during this class they discussed the word freedom. He stated that this is the class were he got a feeling of what was going on. He said that he asked the professor a question. He said that Carroll told him I don’t have to say anything to you. I’m certain, that education offers students a winning chance regardless of the socioeconomic backgrounds of the students. With education, a teacher can end the cycle of generational poverty.
