Certain mortals should be aloud to live with the gods upon mount Olympus. This should be a select few that are hand picks mortals. Men that are not just great leaders and saviors, but are that of heroes. The underworld is full of dead peopling through history. The prize after death is not good enough for a true hero. Hercules after saving all the gods lives from the titans should be more than just an honorary god. Plus there are a few mortals already on mount Olympus; “One such exception were the Dioscuri. These twin brothers, Castor and Polydueces, were champion athletes. They trained such individuals as Hercules. The gods decided to deify Polydueces for his works and Castor was given permission reside in Olympus for part of the year” (dl.ket pg 1). …show more content…

This is one of their main rules that when you brake you get severely punished. One good example was Arachne who thought she was a better weaver than Athena. The heroes on mount Olympus should not live there indefinably but for a good few thousand years. Then they return back to their worthless holiness in the underworld. The heroes wont live next door to any of the gods let alone the all mighty and powerful Zeus. Instead they will live near the edge of Olympus at the gate. Guarding the Gods incase they quickly need to slay a couple more titans that escaped from the pits of the underworld.
Elysium was just not satisfying for the great acts committed by Heroes. Hercules should be with his father along with the mortals that completed such wonderful task. Hercules should have 12 gifts for the 12 labors he was force to do by Hera. Ironic and poetical gifts are the natural choice for Hercules. All of these great gifts should have finally been waiting for him upon mount
