The mobile industry is made up of four main mobile networks which all compete together to serve the best mobile experience to its customers. Three, EE, Vodafone and O2 all provide the UK with a cellular signal and a mobile broadband connection to allow an extra flow of communication around the UK. Another company, Ofcom, ensures the UK has these services by providing telecom masts which are used by the four main mobile networks and by emergency services such as Airwave. (Ofcom, 2016) Airwave manages over 99% of the UK’s remote area emergency services. They ensure the UK is covered with an emergency cellular signal, even when one of the main mobile networks or fixed line communications isn’t available. (Airwave Solutions, 2016) British Telecom’s (BT) is also another main part of Britain’s communication network. They mostly manage fixed line parts of communication, but also operate a very large range of Wi-Fi hotspots providing everyone with mobile broadband across the whole of the UK. (British Telecoms PLC, 2016) With all these types of mobile broadband access the client should have no problem accessing their application. In terms of using these services abroad, Three allow you to use internet abroad at no extra cost in many countries across the globe. (Three, 2016) EE, Vodafone and O2 all offer similar services making sure the client will have access to broadband abroad. (EE, 2016) (Vodafone, 2016) (O2, 2016)
Over the last two decades, the telecommunication market has undoubtedly been amongst one of the fastest growing markets. Telecommunications, by definition, is anything that allows communications over a distance. The industry has diverged into developing many more discrete mediums for which we just to communicate. As demand grew, the number of companies that developed and sold telecommunications devices grew as well and meets almost every imaginable demand and niche available in the market. The telecommunications industry gains its value by network externalities. There is little value when only one or two people have the capabilities so it’s crucial that telecommunication firms reach as many customers as they can. Instead of just having a two-way exchange, technology allows us to have telecommunications networks, which is why telecommunications is considered a network industry, that can simultaneous transfer data and information to as many places in just a few seconds. This is applicable to consumers, governments, and militaries. However, for focus’ sake, this paper will hone in on consumer grade telecommunications. Today, companies are churning out multifunction and multitasking gaming television consoles, smart phones, computer tablets as fast as consumers can buy them. The competition isn’t just limited to who can produce the most advanced piece of technology, but also expands to which company can do it the cheapest and win the biggest percentage of the consumers in the
Nowadays, technological environment is an indispensable part of human life. As technology develop, people can find out their diagnosis and keep track of their illness through things like online medical records, or people could approach to many technical products such as smartphone, televisions, and laptop. By these products, people could update about economic information, science field and entertainment. Almost all products must connect with internet while people are using them, so choosing a reliable telecommunication company is essential for users. There are many the companies provide internet in the United State such as AT&T, Ting internet, Sonic.net, and spring. However, people believe that AT&T is currently the largest payer in the US
Imagine if nobody had a cellphone in today’s world. That’s why today everybody has some form of a cellphone contract with the four major companies (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon or T-Mobile) or a less know cellphone provider. AT&T and Verizon Wireless provide more than the other two major companies.

The smartphone industry today is a highly competitive market in which major smartphone manufacturers utilize patents to increase their sphere of influence within the tech wing. Company growth and the bottom line may be the primary focus, but a secondary goal of stagnating competitors through tech control is vital to staying king of the hill. Intellectual property is defined as an invention or work that is the result of creativity. A company may apply for a patent, copyright, or trademark to protect intellectual property. A patent is essentially a limited monopoly in which the patent holder is allotted the exclusive right to make, use, and sell the patented innovation for a limited period of time. Infringement of a patent is the unlawful making, using, or selling of the patented device within the territories of the United States, during the term of the patent. The five primary requirements for patentability are: patentable subject matter, utility, novelty, non-obviousness, and enablement. If a patent is infringed, the patent holder may sue for relief in the appropriate Federal court. The patent holder may ask the court for an injunction to preclude the persistent breach and may also ask the court for an award of damages. In such an infringement suit, the defendant may question the validity of the patent, which is then decided by the court. The defendant may also claim that its actions do not constitute infringement. Patents are exclusively governed by federal law; the

The environmental factors of integrating a cell phone company into India are an important factor of globalization of a company. It is important to look at what will be affected environmentally as well as how the environment, climate, and topography of a location can be poor or beneficial. If a region is known to have inclement weather, it may not be worth the costs of building there. Ecological consequences, cost of energy in a region, and the disposal of material should all be looked at when debating the addition of a cell phone company. All of the follow factors must be considered for a successful launch and expansion into India.
According to statistics from Ofcom the number of mobile phone contracts in the UK stands at around 91.5m with around half of these being sim only contracts (Ofcom UK, 2016). With this amount of contracts active in the UK then it only makes sense for the mobile network sector to be very competitive. Indeed, there are currently 4 mobile networks in the UK which own their own infrastructure. (Ofcom UK, 2016). In order to analyse why consumers chose the network they chose, we shall look at two different end of the cost spectrum by comparing the UK’s largest mobile network EE but arguably more expensive network to a newer and cheaper network, Three. The average annual cost spend by consumers on their phone contract is currently £469.
Vodafone have come a long way since making their first ever call in the United Kingdom on January 1st, 1985. Today, Vodafone operates in around 30 countries and partners with other networks in over 50 more. They are one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies providing a wide range of services including voice, messaging, data and fixed broadband. As the demand for ubiquitous data grows rapidly, Vodafone’s strategy is to transform their business to become a leading unified communications company and to strengthen further their network and service differentiation against their peers.
In the twenty first century the world has advance so much by technology you can hardly recognize the world from ten years ago. Realistically it is hard to recognize technology from as much as two years ago because technology is evolving so quickly. It is hard for the most technological savvy individual to keep up with the next technological innovation that is about to hit the market because it is evolving that fast. Technology is evolving at such a rate that it is even hard form the leading manufactures of technology to gauge what is going to be the next great technological innovation to hit the market and be able to stay for any period of time with any accuracy.

The wireless ecosystem includes mobile carriers, software providers, chipset and handset manufacturers, and application providers. They interlock to create a process where consumers purchase phones and subscribe to plans through mobile carriers. Chipset and handset manufacturers integrate operating systems created by software providers into phones that are sold to these carriers. Application developers then use the software as a platform to upload their creation for smartphone users.
Think different. It was more than an advertising slogan. It was a manifesto, and with it, former Apple CEO Steve Jobs upended the computer industry, the music industry and the world of mobile phones. The digital visionary 's next plan was to bring radical change to schools and textbook publishers, but he died of cancer before he could do it

Just two decades ago, Bangladesh had a barely functional telecommunication infrastructure with the state-owned fixed-line service provider Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB) as the only operating telecommunication company in the country. The telecommunication system has experienced unprecedented and phenomenal growth only since 1996, when the first private telecommunication company GrameenPhone was authorized by the government to provide mobile GSM services. Due to expeditious developments in technology, infrastructure, services, and legal framework in the ensuing years, the telecommunication sector has become one of the largest revenue generating sectors in Bangladesh with the annual average revenue of $1780 million- making up to 18%- of total government revenues according to National Board of Revenues (NBR) 1. Notwithstanding numerous challenges- such as volatile political situation- the telecommunication sector was able to attract $1.3 billion investment in the year 2008 compared to $49 million in the year 1999.
