The Most Magical Place On Earth

It’s no doubt that creating a family oriented theme park based on popular, beloved cartoon characters and imagination was a good idea. From Cinderella’s castle to the famous Main Street, U.S.A, there’s something extraordinary lying around every corner. Walt Disney World, other wise known as “the happiest place on earth”, or the place “where dreams come true”, was founded by a man with a dream of creating a place where children and parents could spend time together while making amazing memories. However, this extravagant amusement park is only one of the major accomplishments of Walt Disney.

Before we can discuss how Walt Disneyworld became a household name, we need to understand how it was developed.

Attention getter: Disney World has always been known as the happiest place on earth. I went there as a kid and haven’t forgotten my experience since. (Talk about how you got sick) Disney World has touched the hearts of kids for more than 50 years.

Most individuals are familiar with Disneyland, otherwise known as the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney, the founder, envisioned a theme park where families can have fun and create memories together. With his vision, he created a magical world with five different lands both adults and children can enjoy.

As a child I enjoyed going to amusement parks. I enjoyed spending the weekends and afternoons with my family going to an amusement park. Amusement parks are something magical full of fascination and excitement for kids and grown ups. But there are some things that ruin that moment of enjoying a day in the afternoon in our favorite amusement park. Disneyland is greater than Universal Studios Hollywood because of their rides, waiting times, the prices.

In order to ensure the enjoyment of all guests, theme parks must establish entertainment and activities for people of all ages. When Walt Disney World was created, the co-founders intended to bring magic to all age groups. To ensure this, they created a plethora of attractions to entertain all types of people. For children, the park has low thrill rides that include Toy Story Mania, an interactive ride featuring the characters Buzz Lightyear and Woody, and Tomorrowland Speedway, a ride for children to drive miniature race cars (McNesby, 2017). Children may also enjoy character greetings and autograph signings from characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Cinderella. There is one place that millions of people will flock to annually. Guests from all over the world save up to visit California’s Disneyland to experience and share the happiness and magic. Stepping inside Disneyland, in the heart of Orange County, California seems to teleport people to a place they have never been before. They are no longer in the hustle and bustle of California; they are now at the gates of Main Street USA. Disneyland is truly the happiest place on Earth, filled with wonderful rides, life-sized characters, and magical shows that will leave everyone in awe.

Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando provide entertainment for visitors of all ages. However, it is no surprise that the intended audience for Walt Disney World is targeted towards young children. On the other hand, Universal Orlando provides entertainment for an older audience. Walt Disney World has slower attractions which are suitable for the whole family and revolve around the many different Disney movies and characters. Universal Orlando is known for its thrill rides which are loved by adrenaline seekers. Walt Disney World has very few thrill rides to choose from and not many of them are large scale roller coasters. Universal has basically an entire theme park dedicated to large scale roller coasters providing twists and turns at a high velocity for its guests. He created the first animated movie, and has created the magic kingdom, known as “Disney World”. Walt Disney was creative, passionate, extremely gentle, and caring. He was known for working way too much. Walt had an interesting background, also along with some great achievements.

Hollywood Studios has been known for the Sorcerer's hat as the icon, but it was removed in early 2015 for park renovations (Schaufelberger). Hollywood studios is not as divided into different sections, but just walks through the different ages of Hollywood. Starting with old Hollywood, home to the famous, Great Movie Ride, and Tower of Terror. As you walk through the park you come across many more rides and live shows including Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones. One distinct section it does have, is the Star Wars-themed area that has attracted such a completely new audience to Disney World. It includes a ride, live shows, and behind-the-scenes extras. Most nights in Hollywood Studios end with Fantasmic, a musical where all the good Disney characters battle the villains. It includes fireworks and lights, and a showdown no one can forget

I believe Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. I believe in the magic it has to make you feel like a kid again. When I was fourteen, my family took a trip to Disney World. I was like any other fourteen-year-old, worried about what people would think and thinking I was a little too old to go to Disney World. I was wrong.

Walt Disney is extremely known for being a film producer and popular showman. He was very recognizing for being an innovator in animation and theme park design. Disney was a visionary in terms of cartoons. Disney views and visions came from his persistence for the future. Walt Disney strives upon building Disney’s to have core strengths in three areas of entertainment and recreation, motion pictures and videos. Walt created his first animated character, Mickey Mouse.

Disney Productions is one of the leading entertainment businesses, bringing tremendous profits not to mention the joy it brings many people. It has not always been this easy for Disney however. It took the mind of one man to bring it to what it is today, and that’s mans name is Walt Disney. Walt Disney’s life was devoted to the arts and entertainment almost from birth. However, Walt’s fortunes and fame didn’t take form until his creation of Mickey Mouse.

Well all know Walt Disney as the creator of Mickey Mouse and the man who made the first Disney movies and cartoons famous. Walt Disney did so much more than just make Mickey Mouse. He touched hearts and made a positive impact on so many people’s lives. He also made Disney famous around the world. Today there is Disney themed parks in Hong Kong, Paris, and Tokyo. Along with the famous Disney Land in California and the famous Disney World in Florida.
