This I Believe I believe Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. I believe in the magic it has to make you feel like a kid again. When I was fourteen, my family took a trip to Disney World. I was like any other fourteen-year-old, worried about what people would think and thinking I was a little too old to go to Disney World. I was wrong. When I got to magic kingdom, the first thing I saw were shrubs shaped like Mickey Mouse. Like any other mom, mine wanted to take pictures in front of anything and everything, which included the Mickey Mouse shaped shrubs. I quickly got annoyed, but when I started walking down main street the amazement hit me. I started looking around wanting to take everything in. I saw kids sitting on their dad’s shoulders so they could get a better look. I saw balloons, ice cream, and hats all shaped like Mickey Mouse. The stores, the characters, the castle, everything was like something I’d see in a movie. It was truly magical. One where there were no worries and nothing bad could happen. One where no one bothered each other. One where everyone was happy go lucky and had a smile on their face. It rained every day on our trip and when it wasn’t raining it was ninety degrees, but that didn’t stop me from having a good time. I rode all the rides and took pictures with every character I came across. I even bought one of the mouse ear hats and wore it proudly. I didn’t have to worry about anyone judging me because they were doing the same. I realized Disney World was a place where you can have fun, let loose, and be a kid
