The person who influenced my life the most is my mother. Margaret Ann (Tinnin) Williams was born 16 March 1943 in French Camp Californian. My mother gave me my core values and beliefs. Her parents are Roy Donald Tinnin and Clara Velma (McMurray) Tinnin. Her father served in the United States Navy during World War II. Her mother worked in the Post Office Lathrop California. The values she learned from childhood are the same values she taught her children. Do not lie. Do not cheat. Do not steal. Think before you speak. Show respect for yourself and others. These are some of the values she taught me and my siblings. The values she taught us are the same values the Army has. One of the things she always told us is to ‘think …show more content…
“Every cloud has a silver lining.” “Try try again.” “Life is a bowl of cherries.” “Stich in time saves nine.” Margaret Ann (Tinnin) Williams is the person who has influenced my life the most and continues to have a great influence on my
Who are the people in your person’s life that influenced them the most? How did they cause that influence? Was it positive or negative?
There are two people that have significantly impacted my life, my parents. From the warmth of a hug to the sternness of a talk they have always been there. The softness of there hands or not so soft hands when I needed a hand to either get off the ground, or to cross the streets. The care in there eyes when I needed a band-aid, or when I was sick, or sad. The goodnight kiss and hug they give me before going to bed. The protection I felt when I was scared or when there was conflict. The taste of a good home cooked meal. Most of all the smell of my mom and dads perfume and cologne, why does it still smell so good!
Growing up, my mom was a big impact on my life. Two days of the week she was a dental assistant. The other days she was just my mom. When she came home on the days after work she would smell minty and fresh from working in her dental office. I feel blessed to have been able to have my mother as a constant influence in my life. She showed me that I could be as mother as well as have a good job; I did not need to pick one or the other. My mother taught me how to stand up for myself and how not to be a pushover. One of the most important things I think that my mother taught me was how to be compassionate. Even as a young child when I heard about some of the terrible things that had happened in the world, my heart broke for those
Which, in my case the one who has influenced me the most into becoming a significant person would be my grandmother. She doesn’t let her sickness get in the way of helping others and telling me to never give up on my education. She would always say “work hard on anything that you believe in so even when times are tough.” My grandma is always there if needed either by helping in a way to get things done or by keeping people company. She’s full with an outstanding spirit, never asks for anything in return after getting the stuff done. It comes to show that her actions speak louder than words could ever do, By hearing all of the good things she does for people makes me want to become a better person. Therefore, I want to be able to assist people with a wide range of situations that they are facing
What values or principles do you and your family hold dear? What are some of the ideas, persons, or events that molded you?
A third person that has greatly affected my life is my mom. My mom was born in America, but she lived in Mexico until her 7th grade year. She is the middle child of three sisters and another three brothers. She is a teacher and has been for over 15 years. She has taught every elementary grade level at least once, and was my teacher for 5th grade. My mom is very determined, she doesn't let anyone make her do things she doesn’t want to do. My mom has taught me many things, one of which is that if you focus on your goals you can often reach
The number one person who has had a great impact on my life is my late grandmother Pinkie Mae Howard. She raised me from a little baby boy to the great young man I am today. She raised me the best she could. She always told me to give whatever I do my best and shoot for the top. Every morning she would wake me up for school and have me some breakfast ready. She would always tell me to behave and don’t get into trouble at school. I would leave for school as soon as I get there I would get in trouble and they would call her. When I would make it home from school she would tell me “now didn’t I tell you to behave “I would replied yes ma’am and promise to do better. She was truly a great woman, loved by many and many loved her. My grandmother lived

When asked who has had a significant influence on me, I was forced to stretch my mind. There are so many people who have pushed me to become a better version of myself in every way possible, but there is one person in specific who comes to mind. My sister, Emma Riedl, has been a role model to me since I was able to walk (she taught me). She is my hero and best friend. Emma is has had a significant influence on me due to her drive and hard work and her ability to be strong and independent.
In my high school career the person that had influenced me the most was Mrs. Georgia Stohr. She was my freshman English teacher and yearbook advisor through junior year. During my sophomore year she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She taught me what it truly meant to be strong and loving. Throughout her battle she was always energetic and happy. She tried not to complain or be seen in pain. She put the yearbook staff and her students before her health in some cases and tried to be with us as much as possible. She would give us updates and make sure we knew exactly what was happening to her, even towards the end of her battle. Once her hair fell out she would wear funny hats and once, she came into class wearing a Victorian
One person I personally know that inspires me a lot is my father. My father has always been very involved in my life and had a very positive impact on who I have become. He came to the United States when he was eleven years old with nothing. The English language was foreign to him and everything was being risked. The comfort of being in a place you have been all your life and having friends and family surrounding you was gone. Yet his parents knew this was what was best for him, so they brought him over. Things were not easy for my father and some of my family members either. They all lived crammed up in a one bedroom apartment. However, they were not discouraged. My father fought and fought for what he wanted to achieve. I admire him greatly because of how hard working he is. Everything he has accomplished today was thanks to his amazing work ethic. This is what really makes me want to be like him. If I am able to strive and fight like he did, especially with my studies, I have faith I will achieve all I want.
There are many people that have the strongest impact in your lives. They are your role model and you want to be like them. These can be your family members, friends, or people that you just see on T.V. Whoever they might be they impacted your life because of want you learned from them. One person that had the strongest impact that made me who I am today is my mom. My mom had impacted my life and made me who I am today because she taught how to treat other how I want to be treated, don't judge other people because of their looks, and if you don't try you won't succeed. These are only the few lesson that I learned from my mom as a kid.
In life you have many people who influence you. Some aare good influences and some are bad influences. Although, the one person who influenced my life most would have to be my father. My father sacrificed alot in his lifetime to make his children's lives better. I adore my father he is a strong confident man and loves his family unconditionally. I have become the person I am today because of my father.
Who has been a influence to you? Mom, dad, or anyone in your life? Well, there always that someone or person who has or had influenced you or even changed your life during you past years in your life. My influence is my one and only father. My father has influenced me in so many ways that has actually changed my life. The main three ways were for me to keep on task, keep safe and stay out of drugs and, and mostly, to believe in yourself.
The question is, "How could I ever repay my best friend for saving my life?" December 29, 2016, is a day I will never forget. Although it was a horrific day, it is a part of me. It makes one think about self-worth after something like this has happened to them. It takes courage to talk about something like this, but this is the day my best friend saved me from getting taken advantage of. One word can save someone's life, and one person can make a difference.
