The participants of World War 2 were those nations who either fought the battle or were affected by the war. Below is a pictorial indication of the roles different countries played in the World War II. The World War II was fought between two major military alliances namely the axis powers and the allies. The Axis power was a group of countries led by Nazi Germany, kingdom of Italy and empire of Japan. The allies led by united kingdom were joined later on Soviet Union and United states of America. The allies were represented by republic of China in pacific. Let us have a closer look at these two millitary alliances. The Axis Power: Axis nations or axis countries were the one that fought agains the allied nations in the second World War. These countries were bound by a common mission of protest agains the western world and Soviet Union. Their vision was to break the hegemony of plutocratic – capitalist western powers and save the world from communism. Axis nations was born out of Anti-comintern pact, an anti-communist treaty signed by Germany and Japan and later joined by Italy. The tripartite pact played a very major role in strenghtening this alliance between Germany rome and Japan. Germany – Hitler in 1941 described World War II as a result of intervention of western powers against Germany during its war with Poland.
