Him seeing people different changed how he treated people because he never really let people in but he let maddie in and it might have been because he saw her different and she changed
The only distinct change that he goes through is a change from being alive to being dead. He does not know he has changed. I believe that this is a form of dramatic irony. The feeling of being scared to die is Lavender's antagonist.

Having Cameron in his life changed Jamie and challenged him to become a more preferable person.
Everyone adjusts to change differently. For example, the character Lou Ann, had a baby and her husband left her. There are several ways that she could have handled it. On one hand she could have said, ?To heck with him, good riddance.? But she chose to take it hard, she slipped into a form of depression and was easily pushed around by others, because she was afraid of them leaving her if they got mad. Taylor helped her change all that.
He runs away. With help of Miss Merrill, his biology teacher, he returns home to a "separate peace" with his father and a new understanding of the trade-offs between loyalty and responsibility.

Marshall (whose original name is actually Michael Merchant (P# 39)) has abandoned his previous life and reality of being a second-rate actor and resolved to put on a lifelong performance involving holy matrimony and living in the lap of luxury. His fiancé is reportedly heir to a massive fortune, which is the entire reason he pursued her. “And I thought – well, a Mercedes… there’s got to be a little money here somewhere” (P# 42). In the book Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie, many characters went through changes in the way they act and their personalities. Scott is going into high school, with his group of friends. Scott is trying to gain the attention from Julia, his high school crush. When his friend group breaks apart, he has to find a way to make new friends. Scott was able to break out of his comfort zone, making his way through high school. As opposed to positive, change can be negative, negative change can influence the other people around you and change them as well. In the novel, John Barton dies; this death negatively influences the people close to him like Josie. Before John dies, Josie has a crush on him and says to us, ‘Picture this. Change is something you are probably familiar with. In “Beneath the Smooth Skin of America,” Scott R. Sanders talks about many changes in his life. The author starts the story looking throw the eyes of himself as a child. As a child he remembers that all that was in his sight was all he could see. The author’s best example of this is he says, ”Neighbors often appeared…where they came from I could not imagine” (27). As the author begins to see more by leaving the area he was around so often he starts to see more and more things. He started moving around to different places and started seeing the things that he had not see before. The author points out many things that he began to see like the stores

The most special place in Saint Joseph, for me at least, is probably the beach. I live very close to the beach Jean Klock, and I go down there very often. If I want to go to the beach, it’s just a 5 minute walk to get there. Because of that, I would go down there weekly during the summer. It’s a place that I have so many memories and where I’ve had a lot of fun at. There are the obvious reasons to go down to the beach, like to swim, play in the sand, or just relax. However, when you live 5 minutes away from it, you get more options of what you can do there. Something I did a few times over the Summer was have bonfires there with a good friend of mine. During night time, we would get a wheelbarrow and some wood, and we would go down to the beach
Then Leigh and her family came along into his life. That really broke him out of his shell. He was told that he could do better by his teachers and I really think that helped him. He started getting better grades in his classes. Then S.J. helped him with his football.
There was rain and darkness as Jess stood there among the dead body of her brother. “Why!?.....Why?” Jess screamed in horror. She fell to her knees and cried.
