Greenburg spends much time discussing the background of the film, and why everything is depicted the way it is shown. He also spends time discussing what things remind him of from other films. Such as when talking about how it does not seem futuristic, but from another dimension. Almost representing a feel as how The Wizard of Oz is a different world. The technology was not advanced, but not completely foreign. Just different in a way he could not place. He continues to uses much evidence from other horror films to prove his points about his beliefs. He discusses how the scene with Jonas the cat and Brett, remind him of the camera effects in Psycho where to doors are getting closer. I believe he is looking for things he has already witnessed

“If a million people see my movies, I hope they see a million different movies.” (Quentin Tarantino) Quentin Tarantino is notorious for creating in depth films that captivate audiences’ imaginations and establishes dialogue about the deeper message behind ideas. In Inglourious Basterds (2009), Tarantino’s story generated a great story with a remarkably bravado ending, which can hold in one’s memory long after seeing this film, while still maintaining the story’s true meaning in the moment. Inglourious Basterds is presumably fitting to the Aristotelian structure of film because as the film goes on it is clearly becoming more and more intense with each scene. Tarantino utilizes this structure to keep his audience aware of the danger that is taking place in the film while still keeping the real action behind closed doors appropriately. His choice of cast also helped to solidify the themes within: danger is just around the corner, fighting for a cause greater than yourself, and that no one can be trusted.

The movie A Christmas Story has always been a family favorite and tradition, so when the opportunity came up to go and see it as a theater production, my mom and I knew that was exactly what we wanted to see. On December 2nd, my mom and I spent the day together by getting dinner, going shopping, and ending the night with a play. A Christmas Story the Musical was produced by the Morgantown Theatre Company and directed by Hillary Phillips, both whom did an outstanding job making sure everything was perfect from beginning to end. When I was in elementary school every year we would go to a play produced by the same company, so going back as a sophomore in college brought back fun childhood memories, as did seeing my childhood favorite Christmas movie on stage. I personally believe that this production was directed, preformed, and thought out extremely well with an overall experience of excitement, laughter, and the Christmas spirit!

“One for all, and all for one!”(Herek) The most famous and noticeable line in the Three Musketeers folklore legacy whether it be from the films to the original book by Alexandre Dumas. Most noticeably we see this in the 1993 Musketeer movie directed by Stephen Herek that proclaimed that the main character D’Artagnan, father was killed to set a tense mood. However, with that being said, there are also many things that reflect the time in which the book was written and also the social and political hierarchy and structure
