The world is a tricky place. With everyone telling you different things it is hard to know what to believe. The world is just a place where people are constantly competing for what is better. From cheese ravioli or meat ravioli, milk chocolate to white chocolate, United Kingdom or America, to Marvel comics or DC comics, and even Republican or Democrat, We always seem to be at another fork in the road with an important question. Now that we are around the time of presidential campaigns, the largest fork in the road is yet to come of which candidate do we choose? For now the people of America struggle in anguish of choosing Hillary or Trump? Oh how the people wish it were as easy as deciding Skittles or M&Ms. A lot decisions come into play …show more content…

Political parties were never part of the plan, in fact America was warned against it. Similar to when two disagreeing parents argue about whether or not to get a puppy for their kids. Once the parent goes behind the other parent’s back to get a puppy, their kids are happy. However, the puppy ends up trashing their house and makes a mess of their lives. The political parties were just two parents that couldn’t agree on anything. More specifically, Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson were trying to come up with how to run the government but couldn’t seem to find the right collaboration that would fit. As a result they created two different groups. In the end of the groups fading and changing America was left with two political parties; Republicans and Democrats. The Democratic Party was based off of Jefferson’s idea and believed in more government involvement in regulating the economy, providing housing, income, education, and jobs. Hamilton’s ideas eventually formed the Republican Party that stands for less government intervention with the states having more financial responsibility. In 2012, the two candidates of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama challenged each other to achieve the position as president. As Mitt Romney was a Republican he would seek to win the votes of Republicans and Obama would win the democratic votes. Although to win the votes, they will also need to win the
