The Worst Day Of My Life

It was the worst day of my life. Let 's start with the not so bad part of the story. It was our first family vacation all together. My first vacation was in Arizona with my mom to see my aunt and uncle and two of my cousins. Anyway, we went to Disneyland to ride a bunch of roller coasters. I have never been on a roller coaster, but everyone else in my family loves them. So, I wanted to try it to see if I liked them too! There was a one of a time roller coaster that they only had for the summer of 2012, and I was for sure that I wanted to go on it. It was a huge giant roller coaster that went over the entire park. It was a rainy summer day and all was going well until the unimaginable happened. We were good friends, and still are, but it all changed. My sister’s friend, Callie, her brother’s Chase and Shane, my sister and I were all playing hide and seek at day care one day. It was raining and cold outside, so we were allowed to play hide and seek inside the house. Which to us, was a big deal.
“I can’t believe that we’re allowed to play inside,” Chase said
“Well, we have to be careful not to break anything… or anyone,” I said as I made sure to get the message clear so we would be able to do it again someday, if it ever happened again. We got so excited, we ended up playing tag instead. That’s when it all went down. Callie was “it” and was chasing me to the living room. She tagged me and then I turned around and went after her clear back to the bathroom.
“I’m gonna get ya!” I said with excitement in my voice.
“No your not,” said Callie with assertiveness in her voice as she was sure she was not going to be tagged back.
She went to shut the bathroom door, slipped, and I shut the door closed all the way instead. Which doesn 't seem like a big deal… but her four fingers were in the door jam.
“Oh my gosh! Help!” Callie said while wincing in pain.
“I’m so sorry Callie. I didn’t mean to!!” I said while crying, feeling horrible about what just happened.
“Hurry, open the door,” Nancy, our babysitter, said while being put in an extremely stressful situation,
