Although there are many famous people in Arkansas, Tracy Lawrence is on the top of the list. This paper will be about his life. Tracy is one of the best country singers that has ever come through Arkansas, and that’s why I decided to pick him. Tracy Lawrence was born in a small quiet town by the name of Atlanta, Texas on January 27, 1968 (“Tracy Lawrence”). After two years there he moved to Foreman Arkansas where Tracy sang in the choir and learned how to play the guitar at. When he got out of college is when he left Arkansas for Nashville Tennessee to try to become famous. While he was up there he worked as an iron worker, an I phone sales man, and attended talent shows to earn enough money to stay in Nashville while he was trying to get his music career straitened out. But one Saturday night at a talent show he met Wanda Collier, a music publisher. Tracy and Wanda got together and started doing some shows and writing songs. One night he was playing a gig in Bluebird Cafe where he met Wayne Edwards. Wayne secured Lawrence a record deal with Atlantic Records. After Lawrence settled down in Nashville he married a barrel racer by the name of Frances Weather-ford, but a year after they were together Tracy got a divorce with her in 1996. the year Tracy and Frances got a divorce he married another beautiful young woman named Stacie Drew, but there marriage ended in a divorce as so. In 2000 Tracy married his third wife witch stuck, and they now have 2 daughters
