In the play the Tragedy of Macbeth by Williams Shakespeare Macbeth changes a lot through the tragic murders. The plot of Macbeth is rapidly changing, but the interesting part is what caused this. Maybe it’s the mere thought of Macbeth becoming king, but what he has to do to achieve this drives him insane. In Act 1 scene 3, the eerie witches tell Macbeth that he will be Thane of Cawdor and then he will be King. With the words of the three witches it ignited a shift in his way of thinking. The thought of being queen made Lady Macbeth manipulate Macbeth and manipulated him into killing Duncan. Which makes him feel very guilty. Guilt and fear made Macbeth commit many more crimes.
