I was on a trail but then suddenly I came upon a Giant Castle on a cliff with waterfalls. It was the Best trail ever! I sat there wondering if I should go in it? Alast I made a decision to go in the castle. When I tried to open the door it was stuck. I thought there was someone living in it? So I went back to the trail. But suddenly the door opened! I jumped in fright i was thinking in my head how is that possible? I walked slowly to the door no one was there. I got so scared i could not close my eyes! I said to myself think positive. I went in the castle explored it and i was relieved! After I explored the castle it was almost dark my only decision is to stay here. I had the creeps the whole time I could not go to sleep.
When you parents tell you not to do something do you just do it anyways. Well I do and this time I think I learnt my lesson. It all started on a normal Saturday and we were gonna go on a hike, but none of us wanted to go somewhere so we just did it at home. We got our bags and water ready and busted for the trail. I thought it was gonna be a normal day and we would all have fun, but I got proved wrong. The trail itself is about three miles and a couple of extra steps, but with the surprise we only walked a mile of it.
Humans are animals. Even as developed, personalized, and intelligent as we are, we share a deep connection with every living thing. However, many of the problems in the world result from the human belief that technology is more powerful and can replace the serene, perfect essence of nature. I believe that a connection with nature can heal wounds and help humans find balance in their lives.
My names Linn and i’m 24 years old, this morning my husband gave me some horrible and good news. The bad news is that our family is going on the Oregon trail and that means we're leaving Illinois, where I grew up my whole life and our family dog, but the good news he said about going on the Oregon trail is that when we get to our destination we're gonna have a lot more farm land. Today we're gonna try and find a wagon. We went to our friends house to see if the have a wagon we can use and it happens that the do it's a Prairie Schooner and they gave it to us for a lower price than what they wanted it for. We hooked our horse up to the wagon and we were on our way back home. When we got home, we automatically started to pack. My husband James, who is 25 years old
Riding along the Oregon Trail can be treacherous, risky, and at times perilous. Some aspects that make it so dangerous are: hunger, disease, suicide, a broken wagon, falling out of the wagon and getting run over by the wheels, Indians attacking, and … storms. Believe it or not , storms cause substantial amounts of trouble. I am fortunate enough to say, I, Dahlia Clark, lived to tell about it.
Ever heard of the Appalachian trail, it’s 2,000 miles of wildness stretched of all you see.
Running a marathon at only 17 years old taught me that the strongest supplements a person needs are determination and motivation. The largest development of mindset and the confirmation of my future career came from when I chose to vicariously run 26.2 miles for the person who inspires me the most; my mother. When I was younger, my mother ran the Chicago Marathon twice. After her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2013, she still continued to attempt to run and walk despite her immense pain. She eventually was unable to run, until I worked with her to build strength for jogging. She then started walking and jogging as much as possible. Inspired by her, I decided to run the Towpath Full Marathon in October of 2015, after six months of training.
On my way to the waterfall I had to go through Rock City and over a long bridge. While I was crossing the bridge I started jumping and moving the bridge side to side. When we were enjoying the waterfall it started to rain. Once it started raining I was spinning all around in the rain, then I realized that my uncle and them left me. So I started running. After it stop raining I saw a deer hiding under the bridge.
One night Bob was walking with his friends. They all said let’s go into this walkway and see whats behind there. Bob said no but then the friends started walking. So Bob went with because he didn't want to be left in the dark. So Bob went into the walkway. Bob couldn't find his friends Bob yelled and yelled but no one replied. So Bob kept on walking he heard something he stopped. Bob stepped on a branch but it wasn't broken. Bob looked he thought he found a pair of glowing eyes. Bob wanted to turn around but he couldn't see the path. He tripped Bob found one of his friends dead in the path. He thought “someone must have killed him and if not then something”. So bob kept on walking he heard something moving. Bob stopped he looked and he tripped and he looked
For as long as I could remember, a trail of blood always seemed to follow me. It starts when some punk kid picks on me, the next week or so, they die. Most blame me, the police accused me. No matter where I would go, the killings follow me. Nobody wanted a girl like me around, I wouldn't blame them. I wouldn't be around me anyway. At least at home, I wouldn't get bullied, no more killings.
As a kid who wasn’t very athletic or artistic, my options for clubs and classes was kind of slim. So, naturally, I turned to music. I had joined my elementary school’s band in 6th grade, my only obstacle was to choose which instrument to play. I was caught between an alto saxophone and a flute, two completely different instruments, and I of course chose the one more difficult to carry. When I started my saxophone career it felt like more of a chore to practice than it was enjoyable. Soon enough, I started to practice on my own instead of having to be told to do so. I have now been playing the saxophone for 5 years, falling in love with it as the years went by. My favorite music to play on the saxophone is jazz, the energetic feel to it makes it interesting to play and listen to. This instrument has brought me a lot of good memories, I can’t wait to see what else it has in store for my future. I’m almost glad that I wasn’t athletic enough to make any of the teams, because if I would have I wouldn’t have picked up a saxophone.
We greeted each other with kind respect. We met on the trail when his wagon broke. I offer to help Curtis Mick Colloni with his wagon. We exchange each other name and we left. I knew he was a skilled doctor and he he would I left the place and I ask Curtis if he would like travel together. As I was walking, I saw Hunter. I ran up to him and greeted him. I met Hunter Norm Cline during the trail when it block by a log. There was a lot of people and together, Hunter organized the group to pull the log. I ask if he would like to join me on the way to Oregon. He said he had 2 other family going on the trail and ask if I would join. He also mentioned that he was the leader of the group. I merge with the group and together we form a wagon
I decided it had been long enough. I put my car in drive and started to pull off the shoulder, before I knew what happened I was flying through a mountain range. Then I was standing in front of a huge man wearing white robes. At first, I thought my brain was playing tricks on me again, but then the man touched me and I knew this was real.
When I was in seventh grade I fell in love. Not with a person, but a sport. I fell in love with track. I enjoyed the workouts, the races, the team, the events, the meets, but most of all I had found a passion for sprinting. I worked everyday during practice to prepare for the meets. I pushed myself as hard as I could and never gave up. I couldn’t get enough of it. I was mad for the feeling of your lungs bursting for air and your legs burning with pain. The long, exhausting workouts, the freezing practices, and the crazy memories you can make. There was nothing about it that I found unlikeable. Track was consuming my thoughts, I couldn’t stop. I was in love with it in every single way.
Chase his mom, dad, and friend Billy were going on a hike. They were walking up and then chase said “i will beat all of you to the top” he started to sprint as fast as he could to the top and waited. Five minutes later there was a bunny going down a different trail and Chase started to run after it. Chase said “I will catch you” He ran all the way back to the bottom a whole different area he thought.
When I went upstairs to look there was a game room and bathroom and a little lap sitting on a table. I went more towards the lamp. Zoom!!! The lamp slides off the table and hits the wall and breaks. I run down stairs shaking. I tripped over a loose board. I hit my head on the stairs I felt like it was the end. After a few minutes I woke up in the basement I was thinking “ How did I get down here”. Then I looked up and I a little boy was looking at me. He says “ Are you ok”? I looked at him “yes thanks” for helping me. You look scared. Yes I am I came here to explore it. I fell down the stairs and hit my head as the lamp fell off the table. Sorry about that was my dad
