In Mitch Albom's memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch displays the role of a sidekick in several unique ways by taking on what he learns from Morrie in his every day life to improve the way he looks at his own life. To Catch A Killer is a story that follows Erin, who is a girl who is known by everyone she encounters. As a young girl she was left alone for three days aside her mother, who had been murdered. No one knows who had killed her mother and just let Erin live. She is now fourteen, Erin finds herself in the center of another murder when she finds her biology teacher dead. While she is a little frighten of what happen, Erin thinks this might be connected to her mother's murder. At the scene of the murder she had spotter her long-time crush which becomes a fellow suspect with Erin. Being very intelligent, she uses her self-taught forensic skills as well as her uncles FBI know-how, to strive to solve her mother's murder, find her father, and clear her own name. Through this book Erin Blake changed a lot, when the climax hit that when she made a full circle and changed.

Her main character is Melinda who is a freshman in high school. She starts Merryweather high school with a reputation. She called the cops on a party which shut it down. Because of her actions she doesn’t have any friends. She begins the year with no confidence and a stomach ache. Her personality completely changes after the party and not necessarily in a good way. There are many factors that contribute to Melinda’s identity, such as rape, friends, enemies, school, and her parents. Even though there are other qualities that make up Melinda’s identity, those are the most important one’s. Melinda is formed by all of her traits. In all honesty, Melinda’s personality depends on who she associates with and how other people respect her.
Ms. Luella Bates Washington Jones is her name. She is a very strong, influential, and kind. She works at a beauty shop. She is large and carries a large purse containing everything she needs in it everywhere she goes. When she was walking down the street, a boy named Roger came behind her and tried to snatch her purse. The bag was too heavy, therefore he lost his balance and fell down. In page 1, paragraph 1, lines 3-5, the author states "...a boy ran up behind her and tried to snatch her purse. The strap broke with the single tug the boy gave it from behind. But the boy's weight and the weight of the purse combined caused him to lose his balance so, instead of taking off full blast as he had hoped, the boy fell...". Ms. Luella then took him to her house to teach him a lesson. Her accent suggests that she's African-American.

‘Break of Day’ is a novel written by Tony Palmer. The story takes place during WW2 on the Kokoda track in Isurava, and looks at the struggles that are involved with family, bravery and death. Throughout this book, we follow the life story of Murray Barrett and some of the struggles he faces with his family, about believing whether or not he is a coward and the effect that death has had on him and the people around him. In To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, there is a character that stands out. The character of Miss Maudie Atkinson is truly one of kindness, familiarity, and auntliness. Miss Maudie is a kind person. *insert quote here* When her house burns down in chapter eight, she tries to make the best of the situation. In chapter 24, she puts the ladies at the missionary tea in their places when they start talking smack about Atticus.
Meg Murry, one of the main characters of the novel, lives in a small town with her mother and three brothers. She is portrayed as an awkward girl who doesn't do particularly well in school nor fit in with the popular crowd. Once, I had a friend who was spreading rumors about other friends including me ,and they didn’t really care about anyone’s feelings but themselves. Somebody suggested that I quit that friendship. I ended up going through with that after I had found out everything that they were doing, and I am super happy now that I followed that advice. It truly changed my life.
