Chris Zenone Tupac Shakur Is Still Alive On September 7, 1996, Tupac Amaru Shakur was riding in the passenger side of a black BMW driven by Marion Suge Knight, president of Death Row Records. Tupac and Suge had just finished watching Mike Tyson defeat Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tupac was standing up through the sunroof while the car was stopped at a traffic light. The Cadillac containing the gunmen passed an entourage of Tupac's allies, many of them bodyguards. Four unidentified men pulled alongside Suge's car, fired 13 rounds, and sped away. No one gives chase and there were no witnesses on the street. How come? Why not, especially after a heavyweight fight? Tupac was shot in multiple places including …show more content…
He selected his alias to be Makaveli, though spelled differently, is a pseudonym for the 16th century Italian philosopher Nicolo Machiavelli. Machiavelli wrote a book titled The Prince, in which the main character fakes his death in order to fool his enemies. 2Pac studied Machiaveli in depth while in prison, was a fan, and had read his books several times. Perhaps Tupac was taking his advice? He certainly has enemies on the East coast, most of who are connected to Bad Boy Entertainment, a rival of Death Row. In 1994, 2Pac was shot five times in New York City while he was on his way to the studio, and he claimed that Bad Boy had something to do with the failed hit. In any case, his name change became fully complete on his posthumous album, where he states in the booklet, "Exit: 2Pac, Enter: Makaveli." An eerie three-fingered handprint also appears on the inside of the Makaveli booklet. Tupac had two of his fingers shot off during the September 7th shooting. Is it coincidence? It is strange that an autopsy was never performed on the body (since when don't you autopsy a murder victim?), and 2Pac's family reportedly cremated his body the day after he died. No one outside of the family has seen Tupac's dead body, other than the doctors, who could have easily been paid off with Tupac's riches. These actions, both before and after the shooting, are strange and point to the fact that Tupac Amaru Shakur is still alive. Other reports have been published that
copies, and I want that so badly, but I can't do that. I would be wrong to do that, knowing what I know and having the brain that I have, for me to even go and write some simple *censored* would be wrong even though I would get paid and I would get more people's money." (Patrick, Tony, n.p.) This means that Tupac has a strong will and values. He resisted the temptation to write some easy rhyming words and get peoples money. He instead followed his values and worked
The book I chose to read is Tupac Shakur:The Life & Times of an American Icon. This book hasn’t been out for very long. It’s publication date was January 26, 2010 so it is a somewhat newer book. Fred and Tayannah examined very closely and did a great deal of research to write this book. They had to examine all the theories and myths about Tupac Shakur. So i’m guessing you can imagine how hard they worked to write & publish this biography.
On September 7, 1996, Tupac Amaru Shakur was riding in the passenger side of a black BMW driven by Marion Suge Knight, president of Death Row Records. Tupac and Suge had just finished watching Mike Tyson defeat Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tupac was standing up through the sunroof while the car was stopped at a traffic light. Tupac Amaru Shakur was a very influential person who overcame many difficulties. Tupac was a rapper of truth that spoke about the things that go on in the “Hood” and the unjust police. He was treated differently because he was black and was even arrested for jaywalking. After he was arrested he was beaten by the cops who wanted him to “learn his place”(Joseph 29). This shows how bad Tupac had it because he was African American. Tupac died an early death at 25 because of a brewing rivalry between the East and West Coast rappers. Shakur was a person who would stand up for what he believed in no matter the cost and died fighting for that. He never let anyone win a battle that he was determined to win and always knew what he was fighting for. His mother was the same, as a loyal member of the Black Panther Party, a group that protected all African Americans from police brutality. Tupac was literally born to be a fighter and carried on his mother's legacy. Despite his rough life, Tupac Shakur became one of the most influential rappers of all time.
On November 30, 1994, Tupac entered a Time Square studio accompanied by Stretch, one of his close friends, and his manager, Freddie Moore. There was a black man sitting on the desk in the entrance way of the office building. The man got up from the desk as two other men walked through the door. The three men followed him to the elevators, drew their guns and yelled, "Give up the jewelry, and get on the floor!" Instead, Tupac went for one of the guns, during his struggle, he was shot five times throughout his body, including two shots to the head. The robbers got away with $40,000 in
Everyone knows a guy by the name of Tupac Shakur, but how do people know Mr. Shakur? Maybe it is by the hardcore gangster and obscene rap lyrics directed towards people, more so aimed towards his east coast rivals. As years went on, more and more people viewed a handful of Tupac’s music as a true work of art, containing strong messages along with stories from his troubled childhood and young adulthood. Later on in both Tupac’s life and career, he began to realize the demise of the African American culture as a whole. During his last stint in prison, not only did he realized all of this wrongdoing throughout this life, but also the negative influence rap and hip hop had over the young African American community. What happened during his incarnation,
In the same fashion that Elvis defined Rock ‘n’ Roll; Tupac Shakur defined the hip-hop music scene, as we know it today. What made Tupac (also known as 2Pac, or Makaveli) so special were his enormous talent, his on screen friendly looks, and the sense that he was “real” and talked the talk, while walking the walk. Tupac was born on June 16, 1971, Tupac Amaru Shakur. He was named after Tupac Amaru, the Inca Indian that was sentenced to death by the Spaniards. He was originally from Brooklyn, New York. Tupac spent a lot of time moving around as he was growing up. He was the son of a Black Panther activist Afeni Shakur and Billy Garland. Tupac moved from Harlem, to Baltimore, to Oakland. The constant moving caused Tupac to fit into his new
The suspicions behind Suge’s involvement are not the only things that seem bizarre. The entire situation during the night of Tupac’s shooting seemed odd. There were a couple cars filled with Tupac’s entourage directly behind the car that Tupac was riding in. The entourage was a group of Tupac’s friends. One would assume that they were friends that would be willing to protect Tupac, especially, Tupac’s bodyguard. So when the shooter in the white Cadillac finished shooting at Tupac, it is particularly speculative that no one sought to figure out who the murderer was shortly after the incident. The murder took place in Las Vegas, which is adjacent to a huge desert. Why was it so easy for the assailants to get away?

Conspiracies sound ridiculous and some are hypnotic that people are drawn to such theories, but out of the hundreds of conspiracies in the world, few are more well-known than that of hip-hop artist Tupac Amaru Shakur. Tupac Shakur was one of the greatest hip-hop artists to live whose music still touches fans worldwide. When most people hear the name Tupac, they think of a tattooed thug, a gangsta rapper killed in a tragic shooting who only got what was coming to him, a man who lived by the gun, and who died by the gun. However, those people probably have never taken a chance to look beyond what their eyes tell them, past the ignorance and into the depths of the man who really was Tupac.

One thing that Death Row and Tupac had in common was animosity toward the New York based record label Bad Boy Entertainment. This label included artists such as Sean "Puffy" Combs
Also during the late 1990’s, another movement was starting to begin in the Hip-Hop industry between two prominent stars, Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G, also known as Biggie Smalls. Both were the biggest names in Hip-Hop. The rivalry split between the East Coast, led by Biggie Smalls and Bad Boy Records and the West Coast represented by Tupac and Death Row Records. Although the focal point between this feud was between the two Hip-Hop stars, the behavior of fans altered as they too were getting involved by choosing between the two sides. Nonetheless, both Tupac and Biggie lived a short life. Yet, the deaths of both Tupac and Biggie gave the real world of Hip-Hop pathos. After their deaths, both musicians emerged as one of Hip-Hop’s greatest icons. Due to
