“Even when I doubt you, I’m no good without you.” Without the band, Twenty One Pilots, I’d be in a much darker, quieter place that I am today. Twenty One Pilots is a two-man band that originated from Ohio, and has been slowly gaining more and more followers especially as of late. They also happen to be one of my all-time favorite bands. Their music consists of such depth, it is some of the greatest poetry I’ve ever heard, and it’s so relatable because they have dealt with and experienced everything that they discuss in their songs. The topics included in their music are issues such as anxiety, depression, and loneliness, but also the gradual journey toward recovery and reaching happiness- even if those negative things still exist inside. …show more content…
Along with the fact that they include very relatable topics in their music, I relate to them mainly because of the already stated fact that they never set certain interpretations for it. They have made it clear that they want every individual person who listens to them to have their own personal experiences, and not to have the same experiences as anyone else. Even at their concerts and public events, they say to the audience “We are Twenty One Pilots, and so are you.” I really love that they do this because it’s like their way of saying that the listeners and fans are as much of a part of the band as they are, which just adds to the point I made of how relatable they try to be, and how much they succeed at it. Another example of Twenty One Pilots being relatable is that they haven’t allowed their newfound fame to boost their egos. Thanks to the Internet, I’m able to watch interviews that they have, as well as see any videos or posts they put up on social media. From seeing the video blogs- otherwise known as ‘vlogs’- that they post as a way for fans to get a peek into their daily lives, I see how they are normal people, and even though they go on tours and events because they’re in the ‘business,’ they don’t see themselves as superior to people. They’re also kind and funny people, and have a recurring ‘thing’ of jokingly telling each other that they’re out of the band- it’s never serious though. All of these things tied together make them and their music, at least in my opinion, very
In addition, the songs allows the audience to sympathize with what the characters are going through. Overall, the twenty plus songs help to develop the story. They are not merely to entertain the audience but to shine to light the issues the experiences that many people face in

Living in a perfect society. Depressed. Anthem is a story where they live in a perfect society. Our world now is almost becoming that., Being controlled by our government. Being controlled by the cops, the government. Being depressed plays a big part in our society. Having people commit to things they don't want to make, which makes them feel awkward and uncomfortable.
The song "Stressed Out" by Twenty-One Pilots is a story about a struggling singer which seems familiar to the audience on a personal level. While exploring such sensitive topics as stress, becoming an adult, and nostalgia, it also touches upon the issue of originality. The understanding between the lead singer, Tyler Joseph, and the listeners is reached with the help of the themes, the tone, and the narrative of the song.
Have you heard about that band Twenty One Pilots? No? Well it is your lucky day because my goal is to prove to you that their music is phenomenal. Twenty One Pilots is a band made up of two members; Tyler Joseph, who is the lead singer and Joshua Dun, who is the drummer. They began in 2009 and have gained quite a fan base since then (Fred Thomas). Their unique sound and relatable music are the reasons why I believe they are the best band to ever exist.
If I could be any person for one day, I would be in the Eighty Second Army Airborne during D-Day in WWII. I want to be an Army Ranger in WWII because, D-Day was one of the most historic battles ever fought. Also, I want to see it through the soldier’s eyes, being one thousand feet above the ground looking down as flak lights up the night sky and bullet tracers pierce through the clouds. To me, the Eighty Second Airborne was one of the most elite Infantry groups ever created. They have fought in many wars and battles since the elite group was created. To be in a plane jumping into the night sky with the cold European wind hitting you in the face and the deafening sound of the planes flying overhead would be an experience that I will never forget.

On August 17, 2016, as I sat in row GG seat 4, I realized that my childhood had come to a close. Just seven days shy of starting a new chapter in my life, college, I was standing in Bridgestone Arena in the presence of the Dixie Chicks. Since I was a little girl, I have been listening to their music through out every part of my life. I can remember as a three year old, blonde headed little girl, my daddy would put one of their CDs in the radio and dance around the living room with me standing on his feet. On Sunday afternoons, when I was around the age of six, my Mi-mi, Uncle David, and I would pile into their jeep and go for a ride down some back roads with their music playing in the background. Or as a thirteen year old girl, knowing every single word to "Travelin ' Solider." Now as an eighteen year old, as I listened to the song being played, I thought to myself, "This is it. I am about to enter a brand new chapter in my life."
Twenty One Pilots is an alternative hip hop band originated from Columbus, Ohio. The band consists of duo Tyler Joseph as the lead singer, and Joshua Dunn as the drummer. The band formed in 2009 and they have two self-released albums. They got their first big break in 2015 when their song “Stressed Out” hit number one on Billboard. The band has a very large fan base and it still continues to grow. Twenty One Pilots came to the Zoo Amphitheater in Oklahoma City on July 9, 2016. I went to their previous concert in Oklahoma City in October of 2015 and absolutely loved it. So my expectations for their 2016 concert were very high and they were not let down.
Just what occurs when you're walking along and also a belching bird from the future poops on your head? Tyler Travers (and also you!) will figure out.
Certain songs resonate deep down within one’s soul. The reason may not seem clear, but particular songs cause an effect on a person when they are heard. Many songs cause this reaction, and even though a person cannot quite put his or her finger on the how and why, a person experiences this forever. A song can achieve incredible things. Whether the song lifts someone’s spirits, transports their mind to a time and place long since passed, or breaks their hearts, music is a constant. Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” may have been overshadowed by the band’s songs “Free Bird” and “Sweet Home Alabama”, but “Simple Man” takes a person back to their childhood, evokes hope, and reminds people that the things needed in life remain simple
