I plan on furthering and pursuing my craft of storytelling at USC. I look forward to collaborating with other creative minds as I do at my current college. At Diablo Valley College I am apart of the DVC film club and a member of the film production community. They are like my family and I plan on meeting and forming a new family filmmakers at USC to grow with. Along with meeting new collaborators, I also have multiple friends that live in the Los Angeles area that are in the film and music industry. I plan on working with them as well and combining the two communities of friends. I am certainly going to push myself to leave my comfort zone right away and not hold back. I am a strong believer in the idea that being in uncomfortable situations
Second, I have a passion for seeking challenges. Academically, it has been a challenging school year, however, I do not feel challenged in my lifestyle here. With the same comfort as my own hometown, college does not feel different from my high school years. Staying comfortable in college demonstrates there was no change in lifestyle. My passion is not satisfied by having a great level of comfort at Davis. By attending college in a different state, I will expose myself to diversity and new challenges, which I will always welcome into my
In conclusion, I hope to join the USC academic family someday soon. My career has prepared me sufficiently to undertake the challenges required to succeed at the next level of education. USC has been extremely beneficial to my professional career, with offering
They told me that the Greenwich Village is known as the paradise of artists and I can feel it in the air in moments like watching a 50-year-old man performing Oasis songs playing guitar with sunglasses on in the Washington Square. I can’t help picturing myself walking across the streets and going to class in a school that dispersed in this area full of creative and artistic vibes. Also, I can work with my new friends in not only Music Business major but also in Clive Davis Department on music projects together: I can be the top-liner, vocalist and they can be the producers and
Hinds Community College has undoubtedly enabled me to grow as both a student and a leader during my time enrolled. My passion has always lie in the film and media industry, which made Hind’s film program the perfect choice for me. Before entering this program my skills were unrefined, but now I have been given the knowledge to pursue a career in the film industry with the confidence in my ability to complete any necessary job. Since joining this program, I have become the Media Associate at First Ridgeland Baptist church in charge of all video projects, the sole video contractor for Harmonic Audio and Concert Production which is a multi-state concert production company, the lead contractor for a major theater
Thank you for responded me back and I apologize for not respond you by the due of what I have been busy in Monroe Community College. Sure, I am glade that I can answer your questions.
I would like to conduct my graduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill for three main reasons, the prestige of the school, the environment it provides, and the chemistry faculty. The prestige is obvious, with a chemistry program ranked number 15 by the U.S. news as well as being among the top U.S. public universities in research support. The prestige of the school is more than just numbers as the first public university in the nation, it has a history of preparing students for success. It is that long history of teaching and research that I would like to be a part of.
Attending a collage is the first step for your future career. We all knew that if we want a good job we need to work hard and to study smart. Also, you should attend a good collage, which has a good ranking, I chose Susquehanna University because it has all the material to support me reaching my goal. One of the Susquehanna University goals is teach us how to identify and describe the basic principles and theories of the biological sciences, by providing the university very good staffs. Biology department staffs are awesome, they are very helpful and their teaching styles are exciting. I really like the biology major and the university staff made me love it more. When I see my biology class professor I think I want to teach this course, because
At UCI, I plan to expand my horizons through the variety of clubs and classes there is to offer. Throughout high school, I constantly strived to make a difference in my community and I hope to continue this in college. With plenty of connections and resources, I want to participate in bigger and better service projects. My motivations come from the social interactions I have had in high school. Clubs have allowed me to see the various perspectives of people and how they try to change the circumstances of their community. I have met many compassionate and loving individuals and I hope to find more at UCI. They have inspired me to do more than what I have already done.
I previously had an informative meeting with Chief McKay concerning professional development. During this meeting he identified certain collateral duties which officers are able to undertake if they are so willing and there is a need the duties.
Additionally the size of Redlands draws me in, I come from a small high school, and I receive a very one on one type of education. The jump to a big school where the teacher won't know me by name has never really appealed to me; however, Redland’s teacher to student ration and size is something that I will be able to adjust to. Prior to my visit I knew Redlands was somewhere I wanted to apply, but once I visited campus I knew Redlands was the right fit for me. I felt at home when I toured the school, the few students who were on campus were extremely nice and inclusive. Not only were the student nice, but the town of Redlands was as well. The town was well kept, and had access to both oceans and mountains. The University of Redlands is a place I can see myself being for the next four years of my life, and maybe even
After attending Texas Tech University, to further my education pursuits, I have decided that Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine is my next destination. However, prior to taking this course, there were questions I had and requirements that I was unaware of that TTUHSC School of medicine requires. Prerequisites that an individual must complete are as follow: six hours of biology, six hours of upper division biology, two biology labs, six hours of general chemistry, two general chemistry labs, six hours of organic chemistry, two organic chemistry labs, six hours of physics, two physics labs, six hours of English, and three hours of statistics (math based). Biochemistry is also required by TTUHSC which
Ms. Cortes seemed distant from the boys when I arrived. As time went on she began to engage with them. She played catch and a board game in the living room with the boys. When the Nicholas and Messiah started to fight over the game she removed it. I asked her, why did she think they started to fight. She thought they were being crybabies. The game was Snakes and Ladders and for kids ages 3 and up who can count. Nicholas and Messiah are still learning how to count. I told her the game was not appropriate and they were frustrated. I asked her how can she redirect their attention. She asked the boys, if they wanted to play catch. She played catch with Nicholas and Jordan until lunch time. Messiah went in his room to play with his Mutant Ninja
USC became a big interest to me because it offers a unique variety of majors within the music department. As a singer, I love performing but I would love to work within the industry and start up my own record label. The idea of having my own business and managing artists makes me excited. Looking forward into my future, I always think about the endless possibilities that I’ll be able to acquire thanks to USC. Los Angeles has such a massive influence in music and its located in the heart of the industry, so I’ll be educated in a place where I can also obtain local internships and work on projects of my own with other musicians. USC is not only my dream school, but also the place where I want to begin my career.
taking the opportunity to attend Oregon State University is my everyday most outstanding accomplishment. Back home all my family and friends tend to settle, I was surrounded by great and ambitious people who would not take steps because they lived in fear of the unknown or being uncomfortable. I know that if I decided to not attend a university away from home then I would have probably gone into the same cycle of attending a university down the street, working a job, living at home, and not really being passionate or on fire for what I was doing because all of it would have come so easy for me. There was no risk, as a person I need to be uncomfortable because being uncomfortable is what makes me move. If I get everything handed on plate, which
As well as focusing on academics, I also believe that in the future I will expand my social experiences. Familiarizing myself with diversity and broadening my horizons is in my opinion important to act upon. For example, as I embark on the Study Abroad program here at Bryant during my “Sophomore Year Experience” or as I travel after college, I see myself meeting new and exciting people (whether from Spain, Europe, Australia, etc) who can educate me in how their government is run, school systems are set up and overall what it’s like to live in a place that is so much different from my home. In turn, I will be able to do the same for them.
