I believe that my goals and values for my future career align well with UW-Stouts innovative spirit, because my whole career path is to come up with new ways of thinking. Learning in new ways and applying my knowledge to all my future cases as a lawyer. For case I will have to change the way I think about it depending on the information I have. In my future career my goal is to be able to help people, learn new things, and challenge myself. I believe that UW-Stout wants to do the same thing with their innovative
These three interconnected goals alongside my optimistic attitude connect me to my future because they lay the path toward its realization. During college, I plan to major in physics and mathematics, but I expect to take a wide variety of courses to maintain my well-rounded nature. With this broad background and focus on personal goals, I feel confident that I will meet my career objective and dream of becoming a physicist. How do my goals provide the means to meet my objective? My avid pursuit of volunteerism encourages me to maintain a career path on which I may develop technologies that will help people. Once I obtain employment, I hope to be able to utilize my leadership skills on the job site as an expert in my field; however, in order to obtain that employment initially, I must complete college and graduate school, which will require that I excel in my classes. If I achieve my goals, I will certainly set myself up to successfully meet my ultimate objective.
As a developing and growing student, I realize that I need a plan for success, even though that plan may change. At Indiana University Bloomington, I plan to study in the School of Art and Design in order to eventually become an interior designer. While I may change my career choice and area of study, my drive and dedication to achieve excellence will never waver. However, that does not mean that I will not face challenges along the way.
I am an industrious and ambitious person who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. For example, while doing research at [deleted] University, Canada, I discovered anomalies in a famous turbulence model, proposed a solution and used computer simulations to prove the validity of my model. At times, I felt that I was swimming against the tide; however, I took up the challenge and established my opinion (which became the dissertation for my M.Sc. (Engineering)). My ability to devise innovative solutions will, I believe, help to stimulate Schulich's challenging learning environment. Further, my experience of conducting research in an academic environment has endowed me with analytical and research skills to help me tackle complex business problems at Schulich from a different viewpoint.
However, I am grateful that I have been able to identify the weak points in my learning efforts so early in my academic career and also been able to implement changes to them. The way in which I study is drastically changing and I have already seen positive improvements because of that. I have reprioritized many times, focusing primarily on my studies, and finally arrived at a balance that works best with my schedule. I have learned to not be reserved and to expose myself to all that is available at this university because some of my best experiences have come from unexpected moments. Overall, I have assured myself that choosing a liberal arts education was the best decision I made because it offers me an infinite amount of opportunities, both intellectually and personally. My goals have been reevaluated after my learning thus far and I am enthusiastic to continue to pursue them throughout the remainder of my time here. Academically, I plan to graduate with a competitive skillset that will set me apart from others in the workforce and also graduate studies. The education I am receiving here is phenomenal and I wish to translate that into my future career. To do so, I strive to be involved inside and outside of the classroom to further my knowledge in all subjects. Through involvement in various organizations, I aim to become more diverse in my abilities. Along with that, I have ambition
I believe UW-Green Bay is the university for me, and that I am a perfect candidate to help enrich this prestigious university both academically and socially. Many personal traits, experiences, and goals I have directly correlate with UW-Green Bay’s mission statement and goals for their students. Also, located just off the Lake Michigan shoreline, UW-Green bay offers a beautiful campus for its students, which intrigues me as an individual as a place I can see myself living and enjoying as I work toward my undergraduate degree. In addition, UW- Green Bay has all beautiful state-of-the art facilities and learning centers that I visited that I truly can see myself living in, learning in, and creating new friends and memories in. I believe this
When I entered Loyola University Chicago in the fall on 2017, I still felt understandably unsure as to what both my academic and my professional future might hold for me. After two semesters of exploring my interests and growing more confident in my abilities, I feel very secure in what the future may hold.
A final pull that attracts me is the abundant and remarkable research opportunities available to me at the University of Michigan – LSA. Research to me has always been an aspiration. Something I could achieve with hard work and dedication. Research is how a field came to be, how we know what we know, and how we got where we are today. To be a part of creating knowledge, I am ready to put that hard work in. I want to bring something special to my field. The University of Michigan – LSA can help me do just that.
1. Futuristic: My number one strength is futuristic. I always like to discuss what my future will be. I always get questions like “Are you sure it is going to happen that way?” or a statement like “You are awfully young to think of something so far away?” My goal in life is to become manager (Administrative-nonlicensed role) in the school district that I grew up in. Currently I am employed as an assistant preschool teacher in that very district (Osseo Area Schools). I think this a great way to get my foot in the door. I tell my current co-workers what I want to do with my life and they say it is a great idea since my major is in Business Administration. Also, because I already work for the same district and getting to know the staff and students that go there every day.
Samuel Adams is a well-known character in our history books, but his name is also shared a well-known beer. While Samuel Adams the man was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1722, Samuel Adams the beer was created in 1985 in the same city (Frankel, Samuel Adams and the American Revolution) (Boston Brewing Company, Samueladams.com). What prompted the naming a beer after a historical figure? The founder of Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Jim Koch, said that he “chose the name because Samuel Adams was a Boston firebrand, a revolutionary thinker who fought for independency” (Boston Brewing Company, Samueladams.com). What made Samuel Adams so revolutionary?
While A&W Root Beer may not be one of the top soft drinks in the industry, it is the leading brand of root beer being produced world-wide. A&W Root Beer is a product of the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. However, compared to its nine competitors in terms of sugar and total calorie content, A&W Root Beer is the worst soft drink nutritionally out of the segment group. A 12 fluid ounce can of A&W Root Beer contains 46.5 grams of sugar and 174 total calories (Sugar in Drinks, 2015) & (Calorie Counter, 2015). A&W Root Beer is placed upon the perceptual map based on the stipulations of grams of sugar and calories per 12 fluid ounce can. The reason why I chose to use A&W Root Beer as one of the ten competitors is because it is the leading root beer in
“Most of you view your futures in terms of careers and money. Remember that there is more to life than school and work.” Michael McCullough will remain one of the most influential figures who I am honored to have met. His personal experiences and inspirational stories will surely motivate any person. Thus, his words of advice have helped shape the visions of my own future—a future that I truly hope is filled with an inevitable excitement that opens many doors.
Core customer base may perceive the light product on the store shelves as MMBC ―selling out‖ their target market in order to cater to another segment which MMBC perceives as better
This plan began years ago and has evolved more and more to today’s final vision. After the completion of my bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan, I will attend a t14 law school and then begin my career as a corporate attorney. I aspire to work in the private interest
As a child, I made lists of all the careers I thought I was interested in pursuing. The occupations ranged from astronomer to landscaper, and everything in between. My current future goal never crossed my mind, until the day my family toured the Wisconsin State Capitol. We stepped into the Supreme Court room, and I was immediately engaged in the fantasy of imagining myself in the place of a Supreme Court Justice. Because of this experience, I became determined to achieve high grades and an esteemed reputation within my school and community. That fantasy has since then turned into a realistic goal I will stop at nothing to obtain. My passion and motivation to climb to the top of the judicial branch will guide me in giving every task my maximum
