Unit 9 P1 Personal Trainers

An athletic trainer is a certified and licensed health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine. Employment of athletic trainers is anticipated to grow 21 percent from 2014 till 2024. As people become more aware of sports-related injuries at a young age, demand for athletic trainers is expected to increase. Growth in an increasingly active middle-aged and elderly population will most likely lead to an increased percentage of athletic-related injuries.

“Exercising with a trainer makes the quality of life go through the roof” (Giosia.) This is a quote by Nadia Giosia and she talks about the great feeling of exercising with a trainer and how it makes the quality of life much better.. Athletic Trainers care for athletes that have been injured. Using physical therapy equipment, techniques or medication and asses and report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches or physicians. Being an athletic trainer is a great career choice if one enjoys the feeling of helping people, being close to sports and activities and a good salary and benefits.

"Constructing a Research Paper" is a unit from "Academic Writing for Graduate Students" was a third edition written by John M. Swales and Christine B. Feak, and published by the University of Michigan in 2012. This book mainly focuses on how to prepare international graduate students to write academic papers. This book consists of a total of 8 units, of which unit 8 explains how to construct a research paper (Swales & Feak, 2012).

I am patient, and I think that will help my targeted audience a lot. I am focused and will stay on task. I will not be doing other things while volunteering. I can help the kids with their homework, but I can also make it fun and enjoyable.

Amber Humphrey, Operational Trainer, has demonstrated many qualities and skills of a Trainer Associate (25). The competencies of a Trainer Associate (25) she currently demonstrates are highlighted on the attached competency document. Trainer completed the Total Trainer course in 2016 and has had an almost perfect attendance with only 1 absence in the last year. Over the past 2 years, she has proven herself as a valuable asset to the OptumRx Learning Services organization and the lines of business she supports (BriovaRx & Home Delivery Pharmacy). She has trained a total of 20 classes for 2017 with a learner end of course evaluation average of 6.67 on a 7 point scale. Whether she is leading a project or training a class, Trainer always lends her expertise and support which also demonstrates competencies of a Trainer Associate. For example, Trainer took it upon herself to expand her knowledge within the Briova line of business and assisted our clinical team in their new systems training for our internal registered nurses – BriovaRx Nurse Sync. She worked closely with business leaders, designers and pharmacists in the clinical role to provide outstanding training/ support in addition to a job well done

Staff training includes keeping the staff up to date such as new health and safety events which also develops staff members such as information and also talents to make them more active in their job. Which includes the following events to make sure the health and safety is seen at all whiles.
