Introduction
For facsimile production, Computer image adapting software can practically be divided into two types. The first type (which includes programs such as Adobe Photoshop and the open-source Gimp) involves editing the images themselves, e.g., brightness and contrast manipulations, colour corrections and noise removal. These programs support experienced tools for foreground/background dissolution. For example, in the case of an inscription’s image, ink traces can be isolated from the background element in order to create a facsimile. In Figs. 1a–b, a foreground/background selection of a character can be observed developing a facsimile of the character in Fig. 1c. The second type of image adapting software (such as Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator is an advanced vector-based program. So, unlike Photoshop's pixel-based layout, it applies mathematical compositions to create vector graphics. In Illustrator, a line consists of two dots linked by a computer algorithm, rather than just a line of pixels. As a result of this, Illustrator is used generally to design logos or anything that may need to be printed or exhibited at various sizes (Wood, 2016). A vector graphic will never drop its quality if it's scaled up or down. Illustrator will also give you an improved print output since it's not resolution dependent. A disadvantage of Illustrator is that it can't be used easily to alter images that are earlier created since there are definite filters and image editing tools available to you (Wood, 2016).

For my posters I really wanted to push my ideas further than I had with the rest of the work on my board. I used hand drawn and vector images of icons like maps, foreign scenery and silhouettes of continents and manipulated these
The piece of artwork I have chosen is The Siren Vase. This piece was created by The Siren Painter whose real name is unknown along with a birth and death date. The Siren Painter produced. The Siren Vase in 480-470 BC. The vase has has been housed in the British Museum since 1843. I would describe the theme of this piece as showing cunning strength or crafty skill in achieving one’s goal.

A work from Chapter one that stood out to me was the "Tomb of Ti." (p. 39) It is a tomb sculpture that depicts a hunt for hippopotamus and birds. The hunt is comprised of a few hunters, out in the wild with their tools or weapons, while there is another person commanding them who is noticeable larger than the hunters. This is to signify the dominance or rank of the huntsman. The work is started by sketching a grid onto the wall of the tomb. After doing that wherever they wanted to position the humans they would begin to place their body parts in certain positions. The artists did not proportionize the humans, thus making it seem more like they were observers of everyday life. This method for art lasted around 2,500
The use of assemblage and the found object in Pop Art practice became an artistic trend and is exemplified by Robert Rauschenberg where he combines installations with the assemblage of large physical objects and commercial photography to form ‘Combine’ in 1963. Rauschenberg
The art of visually being able to express an understanding through the use of physical and mental creation is nothing but remarkable. Metalwork is not an easy task and I believe was a stepping-stone into a new way of design. I love looking at textile and texture pieces because of the way it is all layered together. There is a particular way needed to map out where and how each jewel and figure will be placed. These steps seem to be challenging but is all-apart of mastering the art of building a piece. I think that the challenge of design is half the battle but when something beautiful such as The Lindau Gospels cover is created, the dedication and time is all much worth it.
This strategy has been extensively used for inpainting and the algorithms ca be smmrizeed as follwons:
Art by its nature is a subject of the philosophical, social, economic, political or religious context surrounding its creator. More often than not, a work of art addresses a specific topic or somewhat revolves around a particular person. Therefore, it is impossible to separate the context of a piece of painting, either historical or cultural, to its intrinsic value or the artwork's meaning. On the other hand, different cultures and time utilized specific conventions that govern the representation of objects of creativity. This essay highlights various pieces of art and their relationship to particular cultural, political, economic, or social settings. Moreover, it pinpoints how different times influence art presentation.
Art is the theme of art, this means that the main reason artist design different types of art works is to bring about the visual satisfaction. One of the major reason as to why artist paint, draw or design their works is to have something to have look at. Therefore, before a viewer analyses a piece of art, he or she has to look at it as the first and foremost
The other artwork I chose is called Op Art, meaning moving artwork. Bridget Riley’s artwork called Drift is an example of this
Different forms of art are evident throughout the novel and are used as a way to help characters take their minds off of the world around them. The most apparent example of this is the
There are many pieces in modern design that hold my interest. One of the most interesting pieces of art in modern design is James Montgomery Flagg’s I Want You for U.S. Army poster (James Montgomery Flagg. I Want You for the U.S. Army, Lithograph, 1917. Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division Washington, D.C.). While Flagg’s piece aims to encourage people to take some action according to the current war, it is also very easily understood by the text that is intertwined. Much like the I Want You for U.S. poster, Julius Klinger’s 8th War Bond poster (Julius Klinger. Kriegsanleihe, Lithograph. Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division Washington, D.C. ) is directed towards the same intent through a different approach. While
While the writers, directors, cinematographers, and actors are often celebrated and honored for successful entertainment, set designers tend to be overlooked. In reality, their dynamic creativity and painstaking attention to detail play a major role in what makes our favorite television shows, movies, and video games so magical and captivating. This infographic recognizes the iconic, distinctive pieces of décor that grace the backgrounds that we have come to deeply know and love. Who doesn\'t have fond memories Thinking Chair from Blue\'s Clues? How about the Porsche poster from Jerry Seinfeld\'s apartment? It is arranged in a game format, challenging the viewer to recall where each piece comes from without checking the key first. How many
Speaking of one of my favorite artworks at the Mass MoCA, it's called Edge of the Cloud (2011), produced by Randy West. This artwork is comprised of thirty almost identical inkjet prints. More specifically, West scanned the same sheet of paper for thirty times; and the subtle nuances among those sheets are different shadows or marks, which were resulted by different scanning conditions each time. When those thirty sheets of prints are put together, viewers can see an overall image of the shape of a cloud from a distance. I really appreciate this piece, for it encompasses a sense of trick of art; further, the tension between a realistic representation of a concrete object and the mysterious abstraction really spices up the artwork as a whole.
Even though I have listed a great deal of differences between the two programs, there is still a small array of similarity. Photoshop does acquire some vector art tools, and both Photoshop and Illustrator both have a huge amount of tutorials and huge uses for digital photographer and graphic designer and both are equally useful when it comes to creating the best and most stylish images. Both programs are mentioned a lot over the internet through forums, chat rooms, and discussion groups. The two programs have some essential, shared components, so when I conquer one I will
