Personally, I think that it is very important that since we are at school we are exposed to situations that await us when we face the world as adults and as part of society.
The interview was a challenge, because it put to the test my personal and social capabilities while trying to communicate effectively with my interviewers. And before the interview, I practiced my ethical understanding, so I could auto-evaluate my values and desires when selecting the job I wanted to apply.
Valuing the interview, I reckon that there are some things to improve on me, such as my corporal language because it was hard for me to look at my interviewers eyes; also, I used repetitions several times such as "er" or "mm", and a few times I supported the chin on
Going into the interview, even knowing full well that it was simply a mock interview, I was somewhat anxious. The most nerve-wracking part of an interview is the fear of the unknown. What will they ask me? Will I have an answer? Will my mind go blank because I panic? These are all thoughts that ran through my mind when I sat down to my interview, yet again. To my delight, I witnessed the growth I have made in such a short time since I transferred to SDSU to the person I am now.
School basically makes your future. Which is why if there are more school days, it can help children understand, and learn new things. This can help make kids who are having a hard
School will always have an impact on a person. Weather that influence is positive or negative, school has the ability to influence the rest of ones life. It is not only a place where one will learn the Pythagorean Theorem, or what the power house of a cell is, or even how to spell onomatopoeia. It is a place where we learn about the types of people out there in the world are, where we learn that everyone has their own story to tell, and where we learn the power of choice.
In the beginning of the interview I was very nerve in doing this because I haven’t done something like this before. I didn’t know what to expect
Schools today, are a place for students to come and learn as much as they can. Only by valuing their time spent there can students learn how important their education really
After assessing my interview, I found that there were a couple of things that I have improved on from my previous interviewing experiences. The first thing is a reduction in my filler words. I
How would you describe this interview? Did it go well or were there any problems you encountered? Please describe:
This interview process really taught me how to listen to and accept the viewpoints of other people who are not necessarily from the same background that I am from. I spoke to one person that I have known for years, and another person who I never spoke with prior to the interview. My first contact was Ms. Tessy Hunt, a direct support counselor for individuals with special needs. The people who Tessy serve, face challenges that not everyone is equipped to support. I chose to interview Ms. Hunt because she provides actual services for a group of individuals who are not allowed the same opportunities and same rights that many of us take for granted. I have known Tessy for several years, and I know that her line
There are two types of school in this world and that is the schools that are between individuality and conformity. There are a lot of issues that school focus on that aren’t really necessary. Some schools focus on points likes dress code or testing or discipline. There are other schools that are more carefree and don’t really focus on forring thing except timing. School sometimes may even be thought as unimportant because the policies are so strict.
The interviewer was very friendly and first asked me some personal questions to break the ice. The first few questions were: “Where are you from?, Where did you go to school?, “What do you do for fun?” Next she moved onto harder questions that caught me off guard. One question I struggled with
School is very important to me. I believe everyone has a right to gain an education. Of course the best place to do so is in school. At the present time it seems America’s youth has been placed into a category where they are no longer seen as a bright future that our nation as was considered in the past.Since the past few years American students scores and been falling and there is no clear reason why. Benjamin Barber’s “America Skips School” and E.D. Hirsch’s “Why America’s Universities Are Better than Its Schools” are both articles that address the issue of American students falling behind in scholastic accomplishment. Both authors agree that American schools need reform.
After the date for the interviews were announced, I practiced by asking myself a couple questions that I thought might be asked of me and prepared my answers; I made sure that they were “perfect” or at the very least expressed my interest in the position. The day of interviewing had come and gone. I felt pretty confident with the answers that I had given. Now, I just needed to survive the hard part: waiting.
A school is a place where people should be able to go to for a quality education. Find their clique or friend group that makes them feel accepted. A school can also act as a place where someone meets their high school sweetheart. Most of all, school is there to prepare students for the next few steps in life after they graduate. In reality, the following generations are having to handle intensifying conditions within their schools. One major arrangement would be the shift in who does the disciplining. The Security Resource Officers, or SRO's, are now the faces of discipline. Students get arrested for minor incidents such as; talking back or having side conversations. Instead of talking to a teacher, or seeing the school counselor, they get reprimanded by the law.
My Interview Stream process was a great experience. For the majority of the interview questions, I felt very comfortable with my answers and responses. I was not nervous in the interview setting. The question that I answered most effectively was the question about my personal strengths and weaknesses. I am very self-aware, and I know how my personality is molded. I also have many past and current examples that depict my strengths. Furthermore, I am aware of my weaknesses and can show what I do in order to try to combat them. The question that I answered least effectively was the question about my knowledge about the company. My response was very general and lacked details and precision.
Through reflecting on my previous interview I was able to pull apart both positives and negatives aspects of my interview allowing myself time to look into the effects that the negative
