The truly shocking and terrible, blood-sucking-monster we once  knew have now changed into beautiful, perfect,and healthy human beings. This paper will discuss the change and the reason why  the change of idea many still accept and like the modern picture of vampires.In order to answer this, I will examine the differences between Bram Stoker's Dracula , the typical figure of horror before, and the soft light just before sunrise or after sunset's Edward Cullen, the obvious example of the 21st century vampire. There are two creatures or “monsters” that are known to lurk in the shadows; Vampires and werewolves. Over centuries there has been a huge debate as to which one is superior. Vampires and werewolves have always fought each other from the beginning as born enemies. Some say the werewolves are superior because they are stronger and others say the vampires are superior because they are smarter. It comes down to brawn versus brains. For me the answer is obvious; at the end of it all it is the vampires who rule over everything that goes bump in the night.

To encounter a wolf is a frightening experience in itself. With a snarling appearance and bared teeth, a person could instantaneously become overwhelmed with sheer terror. The thought of coming in contact with such a threatening creature is certainly not an incident people want to envision. However, the thought of facing a werewolf, is even more horrifying. Visualizing a half man, half beast-like creature creeping through the night and howling at the moon is a rather disturbing thought, that many people believe to be insane. Werewolf goes toward the wooden hut and go into it without thinking about anything but only hoping that he will get help. Inside the wooden hut he finds only cloth he makes the best out of it and cover his hand, slowly stopping the blood from leaving his body. As the werewolf is resting he feel a sensation of being watched he quickly turn around to look behind he finds a woman wearing a purple close from her toes to her neck. A vampire’s diet consists of human and animal blood. Their cunning charms and speed are perfectly designed for them to hunt their “necks” victim. Vampires have access to flight and sharp nails and teeth. They are solitary creatures that use strategy to catch their prey much like a cat. They can chose whither or not they want to make their prey a vampire by biting into a person and only drinking enough blood for them to be nearly dead.
