On the above date and time I responded to Walmart, reference a retail theft.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Walmart LP Officer, Steven Uliano. Uliano was with the Black female defendant, later identified as Chiffon Bernita Gold. Gold was being cooperative with loss prevention.
Uliano advised me that he observed Gold personally knew Gold from several petit theft during his employment at the Tarpon Springs Walmart. Due to Uliano's personal knowledge, he survalled her by following her around the store. Uliano advised me that Gold proceeded to several different areas of the store and placed multiple items into a Walmart sahopping cart.
Uliano stated that Gold then proceeded a self-checkout, where she failed to pay for 5 of the selected items in the shopping cart. Uliano advised that Gold then proceeded beyond all points of sale with the unpaid merchandise, out of the grocery exit where he detained her. Uliano stated "I told her that I was just going to trespass her so she wouldn't run, she has ran before when she was caught." Uliano never lost signt as Gold.

Dispatch advised me that Walmart loss prevention was currently observing a male subject attempting to pry open a necklace while in the jewelry department of the store. Loss prevention described the subject as a white male, wearing a green tee-shirt, and black baseball cap.
Both Brasch and Stewart were issued trespass warnings per Edwards request. I advised both subjects that they would be arrested if the returned to Walmart, located at 8701 U.S. Highway 19 in Port Richey. Steward acknowledged, and she signed the trespass warning before leaving the scene with Brasch's cell phone (per her request). Brasch later signed the trespass warning at central booking.
In December of 1996, Debra McCann and her two children were out shopping at a local Wal-Mart. The family was there to exchange and return merchandise previously purchased. After checking out late in the evening, the family was stopped at the entrance of the Wal-Mart store by an associate who thought that one of the children had been caught shoplifting previously. They were told that the police had been called and were told that they were not allowed to leave the store. Instead of actually calling the police, the store’s security officer was called. Sure that this was a case of mistaken identity, Debra McCann offered to show her identification, but was refused by the
Castro said the male suspect was wearing a grey shirt, black shorts, and pushing a shopping cart. Castro said the female suspect was wearing a white top, dark shorts, and carrying a large TJ Maxx reusable shopping bag. Castro saw the suspects go to different sections of the store concealing items in their shopping bag. The suspects attempted to leave the store with the unpaid for items. Castro contacted the suspects at the front entrance of the store. Castro told the suspects to give the items back and the male suspect handed Castro the items and the female suspect dropped additional loss on the ground. Both suspects left on foot south on Lake Ave.
The cashier stated that the couple had smelled like gas. She also asked them if they had been working on cars. The cashier stated that the couple did not answer the question, and they asked if they could have change for a $10. Robert then told the cashier to take all of the money out of the cash register. He pulled out a water bottle filled with gasoline and a lighter. He told the woman that if she did not give him the money, then he would light her on fire.
There was many challenges individuals faced such as harsh punishments for stealing a miner’s gold, or someone else’s gold. If a miner’s piece of gold was stolen or someone decided to claim the miner’s gold then that person would

Not long after the gold was discovered, Sam Brannan rode from Sutter's Fort and started shouting in the middle of the street, "Gold! Gold! Gold from the American River!" His proclamation started a stampede and fever for gold that nearly depopulated the city. People from different places came in search of gold, they left their farms, trading posts, and even deserted ships.
as stated in paragraph two in document eight, it shows us how the silver and gold
She stated that base on the command log entry the defendants’ money was counted in her presence. According to the command log entry, Mr. Joshua Riley was arrested and subsequently released on a voided arrest. I asked Sgt. Lavelle to read in the record the account of money that Mr. Riley had on his person and if all of his money was returned to him upon his released. Sgt. Lavelle stated that based on the command log entry, Mr. Riley had had a total of $178.00 and $98.00 was returned and she doesn’t recall if all his money was returned to him or not. As for Mr. Carlton Smith a total of $205.26 was counted in front of her and $95.26 was returned. Shortly after, Mr. Smith was removed to the hospital and he was escorted by PO Osipowich via EMS. Sgt. Al paid for the merchandise with counterfeit bills and when it that was discovered, he illegally grabbed Dan’s property and ran away. Dan had a legal right to retrieve his stolen goods, as the pursuit was immediate.
Word eventually got out. On Friday May 12 Sam Brannan brought proof of gold to San Francisco where he shouted “Gold! Gold! Gold from the American River!” (60). His motivation for sharing the news was that he wanted to sell equipment to those who wanted to go on the hunt for gold. Shortly after this, four thousand people were out looking for gold. Thus, many stores were empty and newspapers were forced to shut down. The hunt for gold was thought to be a fever
There was nothing disturbed. No jewelry taken. Her pocket book had some odd change in it. No serious cash at all.”
The detailed imagery in this article descries how “by sundown when the stores were closing” “pockets filled with cash and the car was heaped with salable, pawn able wares.” while Dick and Perry spent the day stealing and having relaxation about the multiple crimes they had just committed. Having so many items already
The next event is the theft of her purse. While she is in the bathtub the janitress knocks and comes in, needing to inspect the radiators. When she gets out of the bathtub to get a cigarette from her purse, it is gone. She knows that the janitress has taken the purse. Her purse made of gold cloth symbolizes all property. The purse represents the difference between the haves and the have-nots. As she is going over whether or not to confront the thief she thinks it would cause "a great deal of ridiculous excitement." She again decides to "let it go."
