Most of the chemical reactions that take place in our body need water as their medium. We can live without food for a few weeks, but can survive only a few days without water. This writing is on a project that is based around Water. New media, performance, video and sound projection will be used to explore movement and sound associated with water. The work will encompass a guitar with pedal effects and natural sound of water searching for a rhythmic sound and music pattern that represents water, as well as its importance to living and hydrating the human body, Video will also be used to show the contrasting calm and strength of water. The new media work will be titled Drink. For the development process of the work movement and sound of differing amplification was explored that could be representational of or effect water itself, where appropriate the natural sound of water in nature. When it comes to nature, trees, rivers, the sky, air pollution also affect the environment. Air pollution can harm the ecosystem. “Nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide cause eutrophication and acidification of lakes and streams, damaging ecosystems” (Melamed et al, 2016). This can harm the environment and contribute to the human health problems. We drink water, and water plants with water. Even more particulate matter interact with cloud formation processes and may impact the amount and location of precipitation (Melamed et al, 2016). This is the reason of flooding and water problems.

Once water falls back to Earth as precipitation, it moves all around Earth’s surface. Because of the downward pull of gravity, water always flows downhill. And because Earth’s surface is uneven, water is always moving around. There are four main ways that water moves around Earth.Surface water, and runoff is moving water that flows around Earth’s surface is called runoff. Streams and rivers are examples of runoff. Runoff will always flow downhill pulled by gravity, until it eventually reaches an ocean, lake, or other large body of water. Runoff is the reason that oceans don’t run out of water. Any water that is found on Earth’s surface is called surface water.

It shouldn't be limited to people, just because your government decides to switch your drinking water source. A reason that water pollution is a problem today is because many people don’t realize that they are hurting out water supplies when they really are. There are many pollutants that hurt our water supply such as farming. When farmers spray their fields with chemicals and apply fertilizers. Some of these chemicals reach the river, and animal urine and manure may be washed into the river. Another cause of water pollution is from accidents, such as tanker spills. Accidents with chemicals may cause river pollution as well. Mining can be another cause because the dusts and minerals get washed into the rivers. Seepage is another cause of water pollution. Because chemicals from waste dumps join the groundwater flow into the river. Urban Wastes is a major cause because the sewage comes from toilets, sinks, and industrial processes. This causes many human diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis, and cholera.

Water pollution affects plants and organisms living in these bodies of water; and, in almost all cases the effect is damaging not only to individual species and populations, but also to the natural biological communities.
