I really love trying to protect the world/environment through many ways such as recycling, picking up trash, no polluting and decrease pollution overall, saving animal habitats and so much more. We should care for the environment because its our real home, we live in it and we dont want a nasty living of trash every where with stenches, also animals can die from our trashes such in beaches, they can get stuck in the can plastics. We need to recycle because recycling takes trash and processes it in some way to make a useful product. Composting falls into this category. Glass, plastics, paper, steel, and cardboard are other materials that may be recycled. The added benefit of compost is that it can be done in your own backyard.

Hopefully then you can begin to imagine the extent of this problem. So just recycle cause you dont want o have a landfill start piling up to your back yard do you? save the hassle, save the space because recycling saves natural resources, reduces land pollution and also air pollution as many products require more energy to produce them than to recycle them. We need to save animal habitats because animals can't survive without food, shelter
There are so many different ways our world can recycle ,The goal is to reduce the amount of waste ,
Composting is important when we look at the future wellbeing of our planet and how it will affect the upcoming generations. According to epa.gov ,benefits of composting would be to reduce waste in landfills, and to transform that waste into a natural
Imagine a world cluttered with trash, once beautiful beaches and parks now overflowing with garbage. Roads no longer driveable, air no longer clean. Masks will be worn, and disease is on the rise. Now, imagine if you could have prevented this. I believe recycling is the first step. As of 2006 America is in the lead for producing the most waste, producing 236 million tons annually. Not only are we producing the most waste but by 2100 scientists estimate the amount will triple which will have serious effects on the Earth. Both physical effects and fiscal which means public services and government budgets will be impacted. Our planet is already feeling the effects of pollution at the rate we're going we won't be able to stop the damage nor repair
Consequently, take a gander at what an Earth would look like with recycling. There would be less Greenhouse gases from the production of new materials. People could have visit an even greater amount of wildlife now that their habitats’ destruction is slowed. They might even gain some back and their habitats could expand! If every person just recycled one can of pop or tea every day, we could save the energy equivalent of 80,000 barrels of oil and reduce the harmful greenhouse
Recycling is the process of making new products from a product that has originally served its purpose. The process of recycling starts when used products are disposed in an appropriate, environmentally friendly way. Items made from materials such as paper, tin cans, aluminum cans, plastic water bottles, and glass, which people use in everyday life, can be separated from regular trash and put in an appropriate recycling bin. The United States now realizes the importance of recycling. However, many ignorant people still think separating recyclables requires too much work. Requiring mandatory recycling would prod these individuals into action. Lack of recycling leads to dramatic consequences such as polluting the environment and raising the number of landfills. Delay is critical; time plays a significant role in waste management. The sooner American communities recycle properly the better it will be for the environment and our surroundings. People need to become conscious and take responsibility as a society to protect the earth, keep it clean and beautiful, and preserve the natural resources. The United States can achieve this goal by implementing mandatory recycling.
Main Point 1: According to Richard Fuller, a system theorist, “Pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to disperse because we've been ignorant of their value.”written on
Recycling doesn’t affect people that much, but it does affect wildlife and animals. Like the six pack rings, soda comes in, fish get caught in it and they die. Another thing is plastic bags get thrown into the ocean and turtles mistake it for jellyfish, eat it and die. Would you believe me if I told you that glass, aluminum, paper and plastic are not A report from the Federal Highway Administration shows that 80 percent of the asphalt that is removed each year during widening and resurfacing is reused. Recycling has been around for thousands of years, but we still need to recycle even though people thought of this a long time ago. A consequence is the New York City Landfill. The New york city landfill contains 2.9 billion cubic feet of trash. The new york city landfill can be seen from space. The new york landfill is one of the only things that can be seen from space. Another consequence is that farmers in Wisconsin and Minnesota are just now starting to recycle. Minnesota and Wisconsin farms produce 60 million to 80 million pounds of plastic every year, but until now they had no way to get rid of it besides throwing
People Need to Recycle In the United Sates, where the population is inflated every year. The amount of space for landfills decreases every day. The need for recycling should not be asked, it should just be done out of habit. Everyone in America needs to recycle, to help the lamdfill problem, help the environment, and help produce new products from recycled goods. In America there is about two-hundred and eight tons of residential and commercial trash generated a year, 4.3 pounds per person a day (Prichard 1A). This is an overwhelming amount of trashed produced yearly. When people recycle this number can be drastically cut. But many people do not practice and use
If everyone were to just stop recycling no one would really see a change in their regular days and people would think it would all seem the same and it doesn't affect them. However, the environment we live in effects everyone and as stated by Marck Recycling each person regularly generates 4.38 pounds of waste per day which would all go to trash if you weren't recycling so it would multiply by 7.125 billion people on earth and we would end up with 31.2 billion pounds of waste in landfills every single day. It would also have an impact on how we manufacture resources since we do have a certain amount of natural resources. Many people may think well we can plant more trees to create more resources however, cutting trees down is quicker than a tree growing. So overall, not recycling would have a negative impact in how we get and create resources but also landfills and
Increased recycling means less trash entering landfills. The greatest environmental benefit of recycling is the use of energy and natural resources when old materials are used to make new products. Many consider recycling an easy task. Products that become garbage have an effect on global warming, which makes recycling as a viable option. The phrase ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ was coined to promote recycling and a clean environment. Recycling is a simple way in which people can contribute to making a better world. It takes time and effort to collect, separate and send trash away. Recycling effects every aspect of our environment—homes, schools and hospitals.
Imagine walking down a forest path, feeling the crisp fall breeze, hearing the birds chirping, breathing in the fresh air. The earth's environment is wonderful and as stewards of this plant, it is every human's job to protect and even enhance its beauty. Dumping incinerated garbage into a hole in the Earth is not exactly being a good steward. However, science has developed the technology of recycling, and people should use this blessing as readily as possible. In other words, everyone should recycle, and if they won't do it on their own, recycling should become a requirement. Recycling should be mandatory because it helps minimize pollution, conserve energy, preserve natural resources, and create jobs.
We, humans, are producing waste every day, polluting and destroying our planet. To save the world, many people believe recycling is the obvious solution. It is the process of converting certain waste into a reusable material. Therefore, the recycle motto is “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle”. However, have you ever wondered why the word recycle is placed at the end? Well, it’s because it is not the only way to reduce waste and save the world from global warming. Recycling may have many advantages, but its disadvantages’ list is not a short one either. Recycling may look very simple and easy method, but when there is a need for a new unit of waste recycling, it takes up a lot of space. Not to mention the amount of money the building costs along with paying the staffs, buying new utility vehicles, upgrading the recycling unit and different types of chemical disposals. It is not only expensive but also, unhygienic, unsafe and unsightly with piles of waste materials on every location. These wastes spread infectious diseases putting human health at risk. Aside from recycling
Whenever possible, try and walk instead of taking your car. Better still, take your bike for a spin. You're doing your health some good, saving gas, and helping the environment.
Another problem we have with placing a price on the environment and natural resources are having everyone agree on the prices. Some people in politics will see somethings as important while others are an afterthought. We see this now in capitol hill on how our congressmen are handling women contraceptive and birth control. The census is a must for voting for new laws and bills in our society, but we would also need to implicate an incentive strategy to motivate companies to go green and protect our environment. In class, I only was thinking about hurting these companies’ pockets and implementing hard penalties. The civil society would have to pay fines for breaking environmental laws. These laws would be car emission, running too much
Information and public participation play an important role in the protection of the environment. To that end they have become rights which are protected internationally, continentally and domestically, ensuring that all citizens and organizations are able to play an active role in the management of the environmental at all levels. By enabling public participation, governments are inevitably providing transparency in governance and therefore reinforcing the legislative and institutional safeguards that have been put in place to protect the environment. It is important that some level of transparency is available regarding environmental decisions in order to allow the public be aware of decision-making procedures, as well the
