Elliot, a loyal and kind teenager. He lived a normal life but everything completely changed on October 11, 2016. A mysterious portal appeared in front of him and a beautiful girl came out. She introduced herself as Lexi and stated that she’s from Earth 2. Back then, there was a scientist named Javak from planet Stronoe OAW7. He planned to make copies of a star named Shrineils since it was their planet’s main source of supplies, but it was dying. Instead of making copies of the star, he made copies of the universe. This resulted multiple universes and created millions of the same planets. The only known planets that have connection from each other is Earth 1 and Earth 2. the fall of Rome. The first thing Elliot and Lexi saw was Germanic Barbarian tribes sweeping through the Roman empire wave after wave. The last western roman emperor was taken over by the Germanic Barbarian leader. Some of the reasons why western Rome weakened was because it expanded too fast, that the country cannot sustain all the people. There were also problems regarding the government. The split between the east and west also had a great impact. The barbarians mainly focused on conquering western Rome and succeeded. Elliot and Lexi had no idea where they are and when was it. They later then realized that they landed in Rome back in 476 C.E. During this time period, Hegna did not yet exist, well, that’s what they thought. Hegna Sharpe was actually born during this time period, but Elliot and Lexi had no knowledge about her birth. Then could’ve stopped her from getting born, but they had no idea. They went back to the ship and traveled to another
Western Rome was first conquered by Odoacer who was a Germanic leader and he overthrew Romulus in 476 A.D. But the reason Odoacer was able to conquer Western Rome was because of the Decisions that the Emperor and Government made while ruling. One of the major reasons that Rome fell was because of overexpansion, which made the Empire harder to govern so Diocletian thought it would be a great idea to split the Empire into Two halves which were Western Rome and Byzantine but while it was good during the beginning the two Empires started arguing over military aid and resources but while this was happening the Byzantine Empire started to grow and become rich while the Western Roman Empire were becoming poor and the Byzantine Empire did not share the
Rome is a city located in central Italy. It used to be one large area, but in 293 CE it split into Western and Eastern Rome. Western Rome fell in 476 CE, only 183 years later. This could be for many reasons, but the ongoing question is, was it for internal or external reasons? The decline of Rome was because of internal reasons, this is proven by historical events and The Fall of Rome documents.
For hundreds of years, the Roman Empire influenced most of the world today by architecture, art, philosophy, engineering, and government. For about 1,000 years, the Empire of Rome was in control of the Mediterranean world. As the empire prospered it was starting to fall apart. Most of the problems occurred from within Rome itself as well as other outside invasions that also led to the fall of the Roman Empire. Most scholars ponder on what exactly led to the decline Rome. The primary reasons for the ¨Fall¨ of Rome were disasters (Doc F), foreign invasions (Doc C/D), and diseases (Doc F).
The Roman Republic began in 509 B.C.E. with the overthrow of the Etruscan monarchy. In 27 B.C.E the Roman Empire began with Octavian Caesar becoming the emperor, this ended almost 500 years of republican self-government. There is much debate over why Rome became so powerful so quickly. Many think it had to do with Rome’s military strength. Others think that it was because Rome knew of and controlled most of the trade routes. Still others believed it had to do with the technology that was advanced during the Roman Republic. All of these factors played significant roles, but which one played the most important role?
The rise and fall of one of the greatest empires known to man, the Roman republic, were caused by several key factors. Three of which were the decline of monarchy within the empire, foreign conquests and expansion of the growing empire, and political battles between powerful officials.
Background: Issue: Despite 500 years of complete domination over the Mediterranean and much of Europe, the Roman Western Empire quickly collapsed in the 5th century C.E. Research Question: Why did the Roman Western Empire collapse? Thesis: Likely, the most convincing explanation is that the fall of the Roman Western Empire, was largely determined by the Empire’s economic instability after repeated invasions by Barbarian tribes. Two Areas of Arguments: First, the Empire’s economy was weakened as the government was overexpanding and overspending, which also led to the rise of the Eastern Empire.
Rome, considered by most the greatest empire of the ancient world, stretched from modern day England to Palestine and was more successful than all previous Empires. Rome's government, military, economic and civic structures were all superior to those of their predecessors.
The final centuries of the Western Roman Empire are remembered as some of the most tumultuous years in European history. What was once the mightiest state in the world bent beneath a myriad of tribal raids, economic failure and internal fragmentation. It is not in any way universally accepted by historians that it was solely the incursions of these so-called ‘barbarian’ tribes which saw the West ultimately crushed yet miraculously allowed the Eastern half of the empire to survive another millennium, in fact this outcome was probably due to a variety of factors. Yet it is clear the migration-fuelled assaults on the Roman world in the late 4th and 5th centuries had a far more devastating impact on the western provinces than those in the east. This essay will evaluate three key factors which explain to some extent the disparaging destinies between East and West Rome. Firstly, the slumping of the western economy in comparison with the Eastern Empire. Secondly, the internal strife which saw the west devolve into civil war and disjunction, weakening it to barbarian hostility. And finally, the external pressure as faced by both sides of the empire, as a succession of peoples from outside imperial Europe sought entry into the empire – peaceably or otherwise. It is likely a combination of all these elements as well as many others that led to the eventual usurpation of the old Roman heartlands by barbaric successor kingdoms.
I wanted to make a book cover that shows how Travis changed his life, so I created two Earth's. The first Earth represents the things that he did wrong and the second Earth represents him changing everything that he had done wrong.
Economic difficulties played a large role in Rome’s decline. One of the most prominent problems with the Roman economy was that Rome had stopped expanding into new territories. Conquering land was a significant source of wealth for Rome. As explained in an excerpt from Herbert. J Muller, “While the empire was expanding, its prosperity was fed by plundered wealth and by new markets in the semi-barbaric provinces.” However, once Rome stopped expanding, their economy suffered. Something that definitely slowed Roman expansion was the fact that the amount of land owned by Rome was simply too vast to manage effectively.

just as the romans were the center of the world during their time in a metaphorical sense so was britain, and because of all of this attention the mindset of their people was somewhat arrogant in a way. furthermore with being the center of attention they were always expected to be perfect. a comparison of rome to europe is that both of them night have fallen due to seperation of nations. as europe and the nations in it formed alliances and signed treaties this not only divided europe into 2 but also forced more than one nation to intervene when when 2 other nations had problems. this can be seen as when rome was divided into 2 halves. one being the eastern half and the other the byzantine western half or later known as constantinople. because
At first glance, the Middle Ages in Europe and Ancient Rome do not seem to have much in common, if anything at all. The Roman Empire collapsed in 476 C.E. whereas the Middle Ages in Europe began in 500 C.E. However, some differences between the empires of Medieval Europe and Ancient Rome are evident, the similarities between the culture and economy are salient.
