Changes and Continuities in Roman Times(100 C.E - 600 C.E) The Roman Empire experienced some dramatic cultural changes from 100 C.E to 600 C.E, such as the rise of barbarians and the radical change in social structure, and dramatic political changes, such as the change in the emperor's power, that altered the empire, however there were still a few continuities, such as Latin still being the language of the majority. On Rome's slow track to death many more things changed than stayed the same.
