Bearded dragons consume both animal matter and plant matter – they are omnivorous lizards, and in the wild, a bearded dragon can spend hours hunting and foraging to get its fill of enough nutrients to last it for the day. In captivity, it is easy to imagine that a bearded dragon will have little or no trouble getting its fill of food, because reptile keepers can just buy what the critter needs.

The text can be considered as a tale, considering the elements that it includes – a hero (Rupert) with a quest to slay the dragon. However, the narrator quite often add different remarks, that create only a vague form of a tale. In the introductory part the narrator paints a typical content of tales of ‘those days’, mentioning heroes, villans, dragons and princesses. But then takes the reader by surprise saying ‘This isn’t one of them,’ clearly stating, that this is not a typical tale, and that the reader should not expect the expectable.
Not far from where Luke landed Dooly fell to the ground, his knees landing painfully on the ground. Behind him, the portal silently closed, and he got to his feet. He had to find Luke, and he had to do it quickly. He too could sense danger lurking everywhere. He pulled his robes tightly over his chest and set out.
All over the world there are many legends including dragons. Dragons are large, carnivorous reptiles. They are located from America to Europe to Australia. They can endure harsh climates and any landscape. “Dragons can live just about anywhere” (Doeden 9). Dragons live in homes called “lairs”. “ The most common lairs are found in deep underground caves” (Doeden 10). Even underwater dragons live in caves. Dragons have to hunt for their food. They can hunt wild animals but when they need a quick and easy meal they go to farms for livestock. Farmers get annoyed with dragons hunting their livestock and many try to kill these “beasts”. It’s often for one to be confused about the mythical creature that was (and still is) depicted in art forms. No one is certain of this creature, and it’s hard to make theories on them. The dragon is still a relevant topic to this day and is often said to be seen. People try to connect the dragon to creatures in our current world. Dragons were used to depict man’s fear in animals, but to understand the relations of dragons to present day reality a person must know how others interpret them with theories.
Seth awoke with a start. It was dawn and the dew on the glass panes had frozen in the night and left little crystals that looked similar to veins of a wing. This gave the window a beautiful life like appearance. He breathed heavily as is he came to reality from what he assured himself was a dream. He got up shakily and walked over to his window, and peered out. As he looked through the frosty window of the log and timber farm hut, he found himself wiping his breath from the window which traveled from his mouth as a cloud of vapor and came to rest on the window as a circle of fog. The world outside his uncle's home seemed alien and foreign to him. The entire world had been engulfed and covered with glimmering sheets of white.
Enveloped in the deafening cheers, I rise with the crowd for the winner team of the annual dragon boat race held in Kentucky. The surging waves, the billowing flag, and the spurting paddlers, all bring me back to the old tales of childhood; how predecessors have sacrificed for the great cause, how the auspicious dragon has blessed our birthland. I hear my Grandma's voice echo like solemn peals," the true dragon lies within your heart…". As one imposing dragon finally takes over the banner, I am submerged by waves of applause and thunderous drumbeats. Amidst the loud acclamation, I whisper to myself:" Happy Birthday, Huei-Hsin."
