“May the odds be ever in your favor.” In other words you will need luck in order to survive the battle you are going to enter. Lord of the Flies is a classic literature book published in 1954 by William Golding, a British author. This book is about a group of boys stranded on an island during WWII and they turned into savages in order for survival. The Hunger Games is a pop culture literature book published in 2008 as well as a movie released in 2012, which written by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games is about a dystopian society where oppressed people live in factions based on their wealth; as well as having children chosen to fight to kill one another as a punishment to the people for the rebellion. Many people may not compare these two books but there are lots of things similar in each book. Lord of the Flies and The Hunger Games have many similar aspects such as like settings, character behaviors, and the ways of survival.
In the book Lord of the Flies and the book The Hunger Games, the settings are very closely related even though some people may not compare them to each other. In Lord of the Flies, Jack’s tribe found a little neck on the island and named it the castle, and this is where he and his tribe hid out during their time on the island. The castle was filled with a bunch traps to help keep them safe, and one of the traps consisted of the boys having a rock on the lever and releasing it when the wrong people tried to enter the castle.
