What Does Animal Farm Chapter 8 Mean

Chapter 8 begins by highlighting the idea that the animals were still wound up after the executions of their fellow comrades. The animals notice that yet another commandment has been changed but like many of their other opinions they have been influenced and changed by Napoleon. Napoleon grew to become more of a sovereign as time moved on, exemplified by special privileges such as executing orders and waking up before any of the other animals. Napoleon was no longer referred simply to his name but rather by words such as leader and “Father of All Animals”. His power is generally officialized in a poem by Minimus declaring his virtues and beliefs. This poem was inscribed in the barn with the same excellence and thought that was put into creating
