For my report I decided to do it on gymnastics. My report will include the history about gymnastics. I will talk about how to do gymnastics and the benefits for doing gymnastics. Some examples of this thesis would be that they came up with Boxing, Pentathlon, Jumping, and Wrestling. They came up with these new sports to show the strength and bravery of men. One other example of this thesis would be that certain sports were added for women, so they could compete at the Olympics to show their skills and bravery. Some of those sports would include synchronized swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, golf, archery, figure skating, swimming, and fencing. In the 2012 Olympic Games in London, all the countries for the first time included some female athletes. After the sports were added they allowed the women to do the same sports as the men. Jenaveve Richards was an only child, born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. Her entire life since she was two, she trained as a gymnast. Gymnastics can be a difficult sport in its self, let alone with all the extra added issues included. The judging system they have in this sport is pretty disgraceful which can sometimes push athletes to the edge. The adverse topic of women in sports stems from society's disregard to viewing women as persons. Women were, and in other parts of the world continue to be viewed as property of men and have no significant role in society.
