It is been assessed that about, twenty-eight million animals are used every year in the United States for science and profitable testing. Animal testing is used to progress in medicinal treatments, to determine the toxicity of medications, research safety of products intended for human use.(Lawrie, 2014).
Animal testing enthusiast explains how research has enabled the expansion of many life-saving treatments for both humans and animals. Enlightening that there are no alternative methods for researching complete living organisms, totaling that there are strict regulations to prevent abuse of animals within laboratories (Lawrie, 2014).
Those who oppose animal testing claim it is cruel and inhumane to exam on animals, explaining different alternative methods available for researchers that can substitute animal testing.
