Before Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott came to the Dallas Cowboys they weren’t doing so great. These two have put up amazing numbers that have helped the Cowboys incredibly. They are both rookies and have broken rookie records. Dak Prescott threw 176 passes without throwing an interception and that was a rookie record. Another thing he did was throw multiple touchdown passes in five
Both these quarterbacks know how to win games, but being able to win in the regular season is different than the post season. Having more playoff
He started his first game and started for the rest of that season. He was one of the best rookies that year and became the first rookie in the cowboys franchise to start all the games at the center position. He sure did change everybody's mind as he continued this performance next season. He improved next season and was also named to his first pro bowl in his career. Even though the Cowboys did not do so good in the 2015 season he still did impress as he had to work with 4 different starting quarterback all with there different and personal offensive strategies which required him to make more protection calls and be on his game. Even after he did this he still performed at a pro bowl level among his fellow
Jameis Winston has threw for 60 touchdowns and 10,000 yards for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in just three years. He is the second youngest to ever throw for 10,000 yards. Winston has been the heart and soul of the team since his arrival despite the odds he has faced on and off the field.
Foles was terrific completing 26-of-33 passes for 352 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the championship game. Clement was very impressed with Foles performance, who has really stepped up in the
In his freshman year he broke the record for a Division I-A freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards. In 2004 he placed second in the Heisman Trophy race, at the time that was the highest finish for a freshman. Later that year he won consensus All-American.
Now Garrett, like Turner and Zampese had to work with, has the tools in place for the offense to be a juggernaut. Starting with the receivers, Garrett has a beast in Dez Bryant (6-2, 225 lbs.) able to dominate with the same prowess Irvin took to the gridiron, and Terrance Williams (6-2, 208 lbs.) opposite of Bryant with some similarities as Harper (can get up and get the ball). Notice the comparison in size that Irvin and Harper had? Insert Brice Butler (6-3, 215 lbs.) and the Cowboys have the ideal receivers wanted in the system – prototypical sized route runners able to get downfield.
In his Junior year, 2012, he was capable of being named the St. Louis Post-Dispatch offensive player of the year after rushing for an impressive 1,802 yards and thirty four touchdowns and receiving twenty passes for 401 yards and scoring six times. While he was a Senior, 2013, he had 3,061 all-purpose yards and fifty total touchdowns, in those fifty touchdowns, he managed to get, 2,155 rushing yards and forty rushing touchdowns. He led the football team to three straight title games, but sadly could not manage to lead his team to victory in any of the games.
Watson has thrown more touchdowns through six games than any rookie since the AFL-NFL merger, and the Texans have set a team record with four games in a row of at least 30 points with Watson starting. While he does that, the Browns continue their search for their quarterback.
In 1983 the Broncos would give John Elway the starting job at Quarterback, where he stayed for the next 15 years. Right away he showed flashes of his ability to win and to make a comebacks
Russel Wilson’s statistics were more superior then some of the greatest quarterbacks in history. Russell Wilson
Aikman, wide receiver Michael Irvin, and running back Emmitt Smith delivered an offensive attack that opponents found nearly impossible to contain (“Aikman”). People were saying they were the best triple threat in the NFL they were unstoppable with this team there record just got better and better each year. When defenses focused on Irvin and/or Smith, Aikman would find tight end Jay Novacek or wide receiver Alvin Harper (“Aikman”).Troy made smart decisions every team thought it always the triple threat but he always found a way to get around these defenses to leave them lost in the wind. In the 1994 NFC Divisional Playoff Game against the Green Bay Packers, Aikman completed 23 of 30 passes for 337 yards (“Aikman”). Irvin, Novacek, and Harper, each had more than 100 yards receiving (“Aikman”). He made sure he had connections with all his receivers if one was not open he looked to the other. Aikman's 94-yard touchdown pass to Harper was the longest play from scrimmage in NFL post-season history at the time The cowboys where the top dogs in the league when they stepped on the field to play there where a lot of people scared they brung a very strong passion to the NFL.
nNajee Jackson has not thrown an interception in 79 passes this season. It is the longest streak by a Lindenwood quarterback since Graham Lindman threw 92 straight without a pick in 2014.
Joe Castle was a great rookie; he only played for 80 games, and he already has records broken. Joe has the highest
One of the team’s biggest strengths is their powerhouse offense. But the man under center is what makes that powerhouse offense run. That man is Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league if not the best. His statistics are unbelievable. He has the highest quarterback rating in NFL history at 103.8, while the second closest is 98.9. He has thrown 300 touchdowns to only 74 interceptions. That being a 4:1 touchdown to interception ratio, also the best in NFL history. One of his most impressive streaks was his success at home. In 2015, he threw an interception at home. The last one he threw at home before that was in 2012. He went three years without throwing an interception at home. Truly a remarkable feat. In 2011, Aaron had one of the best seasons
I feel like Marcus and Julio have many of the same qualities. When I imagine Marcus I see a kinda nerdy guy that is pretty awkward but at the same time doesn't care what other people think of him. Like, Julio both are very smart and think more scientific than fantasy. At times they are selfish but still care for many people and do what is best. They think very wisely in the choices they make but still sometimes disobey the rules.
