In life, choosing is never easy. Choosing what to wear, eat, where to go, and how to live. Choosing what you want to do for the rest of your life, is as easy as walking to the moon and back. There is no brochure that gives you a sure set of bullet points as to what you would like to do, instead, we are meant to simply discover what we would enjoy doing most. There are over a million different careers, yet I’ve chosen a profession in Dental Hygiene. Believe it or not, my first words were not in fact, “I want to become a dental hygienist”.

All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. With a head too big for his body and a weak small body, Edison’s doctors were worried he had brain damage. Though Edison was horrid at school, he was an zealous reader and always had his nose in a book. Edison also had a superb memory being able to clearly remember all the way back to his toddler years. Edison was so lacking in what was needed of a student of his age that he was not allowed to go to school for some time. Luckily his mother had the training and was able to give him a much higher education than the public schools could provide at any given time. As Edison grew into a man, the family moved from Milan, Ohio to Port Huron, Michigan. While in Michigan, Edison's mother began to grow old and sick. Edison's father began new work in the grain and feed distribution business. As he grew older, his father paid him for each factual book he read and soon after Edison began his own laboratory of sorts. Edison had a love for chemistry and once he had his hands on a book of chemistry experiments he completed every experiment there was and labeled all his bottles of chemicals from the drugstore as “poison” so no one would lay a hand on them. Most people know what they would like to do when they grow up. Today I will be talking about three carriers I am interested in and that I would like to pursue. When I was thinking about a career I wanted to pursue. I know I would have to be social open-minded. I would like to assist others if needed help. I wanted to be successful. When I thought about it I came up with three careers. I would like to pursue to be a social worker, dental hygienist or agent/management.these three carriers are very different yet A light. How I would achieve working as one of these jobs I would have to know my priority straight maintain a good balance between job and sports getting one of these jobs will be hard but achievable.

Throughout your lifetime you will eventually have to decide on what career you want to begin your journey on. In the United States and around the world, many individuals will choose their career path very early in their lifetimes in order to attain the job position that they desire. With this being said, one must carefully plan and modify their lives to prepare for what the future withholds. For instance, in order for me to achieve my long time goals of becoming a software developer and/or a computer system analyst, then I would need to continue patiently walk along the bumpy path on my laborious, lengthy journey. Lastly, the following careers that I’ve set my eyes on will embark us onto a prolonged life excursion.
