Have you ever started flipping through your channels on television and there was a WNBA game on ESPN? Most likely, but did you stop and watch it, Probably not. Have you ever skipped through the channels and saw a NBA game on? You probably didn't watch the game. WNBA mean Women's National Basketball Association. Its a professional basketball association regarding females only. It was founded on April 24,1996. The NBA is the National Basketball Association, meaning that only males. The basketball league is unfair, because the NBA gets to play 26 different teams during their season but the WNBA only gets to play 12 different teams. If someone had tickets to a NBA game to see The Santa Cruz Warriors vs. the South Bay Lakers, or WNBA tickets to see the New York Liberty vs. the Portland Fire you would most …show more content…

In men's national soccer team the salary that the all famous Cristiano Ronaldo made was around $58 million, and Lionel Messi madde around $53 million. The most a woman soccer player can make is no more than $400,000 a year. The capped salary for men's soccer is around $3 million. Are the head leaders of the Women's Professional Soccer League, or any league being sexist toward women? When it comes to professional sports women are treated unfairly. In basketball, softball/ baseball, golf, lacrosse, and hockey professional leagues females are grossing all underpaid, and not to mention it, but there is no professional football leaguefor feamales, its only a amuatur league. The only sport that comes close to getting paid the same by men and women is tennis, and there is about a $35 million difference. Serena Williams is the highest paid female athlete in america. She makes $27 million just off playing tennis. Roger Federer is the highest paid tennis player $67 million. At the end of the day $27 million is a lot of money, but if I am earning $35 million less than someone just because I am a female I would be
