At the beginning of this school year, I began to realize something. I realized that my high school years were coming to an end. This was an eye opener for me. I didn't know what to expect of my last year nor what I wanted to do after high school. I then began looking for a job. So I applied to Chick-fil-a. I waited patiently several weeks for a call, but received no call whatsoever. I patiently waited for a new opportunity to come along. Until finally, I was given an opportunity at an electrical shop. On the first day of work I was introduced to the staff and learned the procedures of what needed to be done. My job now was to maintain the shop clean and to keep all materials organized as well as other tasks that helped me grow with my skills.
In his book, The Tipping Point: How little things can make a big difference (2000), Malcolm Gladwell highlights the power of intelligent action and the potential of little changes for starting epidemics. Concepts such as the law of few, the stickiness factor, and the power of context arouse epidemics both in macro-level and in micro-level. Two years down the road, the couple decided to merge with the owners of Clarksville Natural Grocery, Craig Weller and Mark Skiles. This resulted in the development of the original Whole Foods Market, on September 20th, 1980. Not even a year later a terrible flood washed out approximately four hundred thousand dollars of their inventory and equipment. Unfortunately, the store had no insurance at the time. Customers and neighbors had voluntarily joined the staff of nineteen to repair and clean up the damage. Creditors, vendors, and investors all provided breathing room for the store to get back on its feet and it re-opened only 28 days after the flood. In 1984, Whole Foods Market started expanding out from their roots in Austin, moving to Houston, Dallas, and then New Orleans. The origin of Whole Foods Market began as a small natural food store under the name Safer Way Natural Foods in Austin, Texas, in 1980. As interest in the natural food movement quickly grew, Safer Way soon merged with another local natural grocer. This union was called Whole Foods Market (“Newsroom,” 2015). Though the company started with a mere 19 employees, attraction to this new idea grew rapidly, and it was not long before the company began to build a chain of stores through several acquisitions. Due to the increased interest in natural foods nationwide and very low competition at the time, Whole Foods Market began acquiring food stores all over the nation throughout the 1990s. By 2004, the company had expanded internationally to Canada and the UK “Newsroom,” 2015). Today the company has 414 stores in the US, Canada, and United Kingdom, and approximately 88,000 team members (“Newsroom,” 2015).

I turned around at my mom and said i'm not going to get the groceries if you don't see me. I knew the gang of boys was going to see me the next morning. Then I ran onto my bed and. But she didn't know I was not going to get those groceries even if she held a gun to my head. I stayed in my room and listened to my music for the rest of the night. The next morning I woke up super early at 5:00 and tiptoed down to the kitchen and got a banana, money, and the list. I packed my bag and ran. Later I was on the side of 5th street and saw someone someone big, tall and familiar. It was my dad. I ran over to him and gave him a big hug and started crying. We had a good conversation about mom and how we were both doing. Then he asked why I was running away
On a very hot day in the middle of June, my mom and I were traveling to a local supermarket to go get a few groceries. When we finally managed to get all the groceries we needed I started to walk towards the doors to leave when I noticed this cute old lady. She was short and had a narrow, oblong face with angular cheekbones and a pointed chin. I noticed that she was struggling with carrying all of her half dozen bags that were filled with all her items. I felt bad so I decided that I was going to be a generous person and help this lady out. I approached this woman and had asked her if she needed any help with carrying her groceries. The woman replied “oh yes I do, why are you so kind?” I told her that it looked to me that she (you) were having a hard time with your bags. She thanked me nonstop. We started to have a conversation and I asked her what her name was, but she was having a hard time even trying to tell me her name from the look she gave me. She seemed confused and out of place. The lady finally managed to tell me
Since each act that affects his life, which thence I assumed my own, follows a common reason; therefore, I return to the source of my troubles and pose again my inquiry. In the morning, when I woke up, I found this drink — which inspired and filled my heart with affection — drenching my eyes; its true flavour, nevertheless, wading across my current and inherent suspicion.
