Why am I attending college? As a high school senior, I’m beginning to look at what life will be like outside of high school. I really only have two options; to continue to higher education, which means going to a college or university, or to start working and planning my life right away. Different people will have different choices of their own, but I believe attending a college or university is best for me for a couple of reasons.
The first reason is my career choice. When I leave high school, I hope to find a decent job. I plan to work at a local store or even on campus of the college or university that I end up at, however, I don’t want that to be my job for the rest of my life. I love young children and being able to play a major role in their growth. I want to be a kindergarten teacher and be able to help children grow confidently and be able to go into grade school prepared for what they're about to be entered into. To do that, I will have to have some sort of education outside of school.

I want college to create a new me. I don't want to enter adulthood as the same person I was in high school; I want to open up and meet new people. I want to experience things you don't usually experience if you go straight into working after high school. I want to live on campus and get really close to my roommate. I want to create a life that is strong and worthy of being looked upon. I want to get practical and valuable experiences while studying my major. I also want college to make me a confident, independent woman. I've lived as a student with my parents my whole life and I have never experienced life without depending on them. I will need that experience to make it through life on my own and I think attending college will be a great way to lead me to that

I must also rely on my personal strengths and my motivation to guide me through the tough times that I am sure to experience on my road to success to get my degree in Criminal Justice. I have always been a person who is eager to learn new things.

My father and the rest of my family have all gone into trade work, some of them attending a trade school and some not. While all of my family does well and live a comfortable lifestyle. I have noticed through the years that my mother has always been employed even when others in my family have not and she always seems to have an easier time finding work. This is the main reasons I decided to attend college, with higher education often times comes more job security and stability. I don’t need sympathy; I wish to just impress anyone just by my intellect ways and showing that I am headstrong. There are a numerous amount of reasons why I would love to attend college but the main three is that it really is the only possible way to become comfortably successful, my ancestors fought for me to even go to school and further my education, and to make the woman that raised me proud.

As a result of several motivational purposes, there are many driving factors to go to college that can and will impact one’s life. Before going to college, I waited 2 ½ years after I graduated high school to finally make my decision to go to college. The reason it took me so long is that I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. First, I wanted to be a probation officer, then I changed my mind to be an OBGYN, then finally I made the decision to become a nurse. I know I have a long road of schooling ahead of me, but that is okay. I have wonderful people in my life that encourage me to continue my studies. Going to college is important since it can open many opportunities to get into a better career field, it is a fun experience, and it can also start a tradition in my family.
I would like to attend college because I want to be able to demonstrate not only to myself but to my family that we can do what we set ourselves to do. I would to do go far in this life and accomplish my life goals. Without college, I will not be able to do my goals. My goals are to graduate from college, one day own my own land so that I can own my own agricultural business, and have my home there too, and I want to be a high school Spanish teacher as well. Another reason as to why I want to attend college is that I want to be able to show my little sister that anything is possible, we can do whatever we set ourselves to do, as long we do not give up we will be able to accomplish great things in life. My teachers have also been a great influence
Through college you learn many skills that will help you in your career. One reason I want to go to college is that more jobs are available after completing college. Many employers look for a college diploma on a résumé when hiring. I want my future job to interest me and this will help. With more options I can get a job that pays good and interests me. This way I will enjoy going to work everyday. I also need good pay so that I can get the things I need. Of course this all will help provide for myself. For example, food is an obvious priority. Also, I need clothing and a home. Overall college is a great way to prepare for a job, provide for my everyday needs and get a career that interests me.

I want to go to college because I want to have a successful future. I know that if I sit down right now, and focus on the future, and how I can make it better, then I'll be able to live a great life when I'm older. In addition to that I love learning and spending time by myself. The more time I spend learning, the more content I grow. Sometimes I find more satisfaction and interest in books and learning new skills than I do in meeting new people. Books usually have a lot of information, and I don't really have to do anything except for continue to read and be interested.
A more interpersonal reason that I'm going to college is that I am bored, I've done a lot in my life, and if I don't have something to strive for what do I have left. I don't have very much and other effects around me. I need a reason, goals, and other ideas that I can spread for that I could do better at. For if I am done with that then it's just time for me to blow my own off.
