I would enjoy attending Brigham Young University in Provo. I want to attend in Provo because I have grown up here my whole life. I love Provo and enjoy the spiritual environment. My family also lives in Provo which would make it convenient when I am returning from my mission to help me get right into college while I'm finding work and housing. I have participated in many different activities on Brigham Young University campus, it would be easy to get around on with the knowledge I have which would allow me to focus on schooling. Brigham Young University also has a good program for what I want to study. The school environment is also very religiously centered. This would help me come closer to Christ through my daily schooling as well as my
I have fallen in love with UNCW after first-hand seeing it for myself last summer. I know a lot of alumni from UNCW and have heard nothing but positive things about the school, teachers, and its courses. I am interested in majoring marketing or business and UNCW excels in both of these areas for me. In addition, it provides many courses that assist me in meeting my goals for my career. I would love to attend UNCW because it is close to my hometown but also far enough to where I can be an independent. Not only do I believe the University of North Carolina Wilmington is the right fit for me and my future career but also has every aspect that I am looking for in a college. It has the perfect location, the perfect size, very affordable, and the
Brigham Young University in Hawaii is the college that I would most like to attend. I would prefer to attend a church school and be around people that share my religious views and standards. BYU Hawaii is most attractive because it has a prodigious heritage and diverse cultures compared to the other church schools. In short, the cultural diversity attracts me to BYU Hawaii. I have grown up in an area that is not culturally diverse. I enjoy meeting people of different backgrounds and ethnicities because it opens my eyes to the diversity throughout the world. It is exciting to be around and meet people that come from different backgrounds. I am always intrigued by their unique cultures. There is an older Hawaiian woman in my ward that has
curriculum and thought-provoking courses. At Vanderbilt, I would receive the opportunities to participate in exceptional undergraduate research and to develop personal relationships with my professors. Vanderbilt has superb academic flexibility, so I would be able to double major in Molecular Biology and Chemistry. Both of these preceding subjects greatly interest me for many different reasons.
Attending Villanova will allow me to immerse myself in my community; allowing me to focus not only on myself, but also on being a cohesive part of the University. You only get as much out of a community as you put in. I intend to go all
I have always known that I wanted to attend a top-tier university. The other details came later; the small size, the proximity to an urban hub, and my major itself. For a while, I was convinced that it would not happen; that I just wouldn’t get in. Now, I realize that I have an opportunity to do so. This is an opportunity I do not intend to waste.
There are a multitude of reasons I want to attend Virginia Tech, but being reduced to five, I would have to choose the college atmosphere as my top reason. I would love to participate in and enjoy Virginia Tech’s massive football games that are full of life and excitement. The school spirit would truly enhance my experience around the campus and in my social life as well. The second reason is because I want to major in an engineering field, and Virginia Tech is a stellar school for this aspiration. The college’s prestigious ranking in engineering fields is more than enough to convince me to attend. Another reason I want to attend Virginia Tech is because it is my ambition to genuinely love my career path, and I think Virginia Tech is an ideal
In today’s extremely competitive, job-scarce economy, having a college degree is now a steadfast requirement when applying to even entry-level professional jobs. Choosing a college has always been a challenging task for high school seniors, but it is now fraught with stress and anxiety for nearly every adult who seeks to further their education. Questions abound: what school offers the exact program I desire? What school is in the best location, or has the best campus? What school feels ‘right’?
I want to attend Archbishop Mitty because initially it felt like the right place for me. From the day I took the tour and attended the High School Information Night, I knew something felt good and I wanted to explore it more. The excitement in the eyes of the students presenting, the joy they described and the opportunities available to them was something I could not stop thinking about. Coming from a small middle school, I wanted more.
I am interested in attending Azusa Pacific because I believe that the University will afford me the with the opportunity to achieve both my academic and spiritual goals that I wish to accomplish. Attending the University would allow me to continue learning and growing in a Christian environment as I have attended Christian schools the majority of my k-12 years. Attending Azusa Pacific will help me grow as an individual and it will help me uncover my passions in life, as well as strengthen my relationship with God.. My ultimate goals of life are to find happiness and freedom and I believe that I will be able to reach these goal along with others if accepted into Azusa Pacific. 1-I want to go to South Dakota School of Mining and Technology because you have an amazing electrical engineering program. There are a lot of fields in electrical engineering I am interested in that you offer. Knowing you have all these fields makes this a huge opportunity for me, knowing that I can opportunities in multiple fields. Everything about the campus and the Engineering program in general I like and that's why I want to go to your school. Why I am so interested in Electrical Engineering is because of our supermileage team. I was asked by the teacher to work on the electrical car and I worked on it with a few classmates and built the car from scratch. While working on the car I helped put everything in it including the engine and battery which was the two I mainly helped with on the car. I really liked the experience about learning how to get everything in the car to work together. I also put together all four of the car proposals, which allowed us to compete in Detroit and in Brainerd. What was on the proposals were measurements of the cars, what all was in the cars
One reason I am going to St. Cloud State is because of the wrestling program. I am very passionate about wrestling and it started back in 4th grade. Wrestling came to me in three categories. At first I just joined because my friends were in it. The second phase was just me wanting to win all the time, and it made me kind of forget what the sport really means. I think of wrestling now as a gift to me and I have learned to love the sport more than just wanting to win. Once I learned to simply enjoy the sport and learn from the ups and downs, it taught me how life will be. My coach, Jamie Heidt, always says that when we leave this program, he wanted to install the mindset of trying your best no matter what it is. Whether that is fighting for a job, fighting for your family, or fighting to win a match, you never give up on something you love.
I would most likely like to attend BYU-Idaho for many reasons. One reason is that I know a couples you attended there and they have shared with me their positive experiences. Through their experiences I think that this school and the positive environment is perfect for me. Another reason is that I would love to study social work and they have a very good social program
During my time at LDS Business College, I studied various courses from Accounting and to Religion. Throughout the different courses that I took, I found out a lot about myself and my identity. I always dreamed to be a Network Developer, managing databases and program networks was what I thought would be the ideal career for me. But at LDS Business College, I met a lot of different people; people with different culture, background, interest, motives, opinions, and who chose different career paths. Even though we were different in a lot of ways, we were all heading towards the same direction and it was towards success. I would like to attend Brigham Young University because I truly believe that BYU has the education that I need. I am not saying
Brigham Young University has been my dream as long as I can remember. My family has three consecutive generations of BYU-Provo graduates so one could casually say that I’ve been bleeding blue and white since day one. Each of my family members that have attended BYU continually has expressed how grateful they were for the atmosphere of this university. BYU provides everything that I want for my college experience starting with the prestigious nursing program. My desire to become a registered nurse has influenced and directed my studies throughout high school and I hope to continue down this career path as a part of this competitive program at BYU. Additionally, as the only member of the church in my entire high school, I long to finally be surrounded
