Opening- There are about 701,200 doctors in the United States. And I could be one of them. They treat people when they are sick or hurt. They give advice to patients to help keep them from getting sick. They bandage knees, prescribe medicine, sew up cuts. They bring new babies into the world and comfort older people who are sick or dying. And what made me go into this career was that I always wanted to do something in medicine. And I thought that why not become a M.D. And medicine is something I love to do.
Characteristics- The setting is very neutral maybe a few pictures on the wall. I will hopefully be working in an office. Hopefully my office will have a huge window with a view. I feel working as a doctor I will be out of the

But mostly to the serious problems facing our health care system. Raising cost, poor personal health, and rising number of the uninsured. The average salary for a doctor in New York is around 95,000 a year. The nationwide average salary is 78,000 a year.
PERSONAL-
There are two main rewards when it comes to be a doctor. One of the rewards for being a doctor is wealth. The other is great respect in the medical world. Also the benefit of knowing you helped someone live another day. This job is very compatible with my work style behavior. Because it has the main two I want and that is respect and wealth. I expect to make to start out making around 75,000 a year. And then to move my way up. And around half way though my career I expect to be making around 85,000 a year. This career I have chosen makes enough money to support me and my family.
My Plan- The skills that I had at that time was are filing, basic computer skills, basic math skills. But now I have learned more advanced math skills and science. The skills I need now are the advance science classes such as biology and chemistry. Because this job requires a lot of science and math. This career also requires patience and a level head under pressure. If I chose to go to another career, such as a pharmacist. I would be prefect for the job. Basically any career in medicine, I would be prefect it for.
Today-
To begin preparing for this career I could start by taking a lot of math and science
Careers in the medical field will allow me to experience a life I never had, but always dreamed of. I will finally be able to support my family financially without struggling and I will be able to say “I am the first doctor in my family.” That alone is enough to prove to myself that I actually made it.
For my people and my culture, doctor is one of the best career choices one can think of. If one can get into a Medical School, especially outside the country, he/she is considered as the resident of the highest caste of the society in the future. What can we say; doctors are ones with high intelligence, higher budgets, and high dedication in sciences. They are heroes in the white lab coats that perform surgeries, and save lives. Those with high intelligence, but low budgets; or high budgets, but low intelligence and/or dedications, are not good enough to be the heroes for the sick people. They can still be part of the hospital system, not as the hero, but the hero’s helpers.
I chose this career because the study of medicine has always interested me, and I know I want to benefit people's health.
I’ve always had an interest in becoming a Doctor. Even as a young child. Unfortunately, I lost my grandpa January 23, 2016 to a Lung Disease. He and I had a great relationship. He inspired me to be the best that I can be. Through his battle with Lung disease, I saw how the Doctors cared for him in a special way. My father suffered from a stroke that nearly changed his life. Watching him progress and get treated from amazing Doctors opened my eyes. That’s when I realized becoming a Doctor would allow me to care for people the same way my loved ones were cared
I have chosen osteopathic medicine as my professional choice in becoming a physician, because I have a passion for the healthcare field and learning, I want to be able to help others and give back to the community and I believe that medicine is evolving towards an osteopathic approach which takes into account the body as a whole. Passion is the driver behind any good physician. I am always looking to learn and improve upon my performance in whatever I am doing. Whether it was undergraduate coursework, medical shadowing, EMT training, or community service I put forth my fullest effort into the task at hand. Every moment in medicine and life in general is a valuable learning experience. Osteopathic medicine will force me outside of my comfort zone and many mistakes will be made along the way, but I look forward to tackling the challenges ahead of me and in the end it will allow me to become the best physician possible.
For instance, assuming that you enjoyed science, you could anticipate a future career as a lab expert or a medicine
I did not always want to be a doctor. My interest grew out of witnessing the suffering that health issues have caused to my loved ones, myself, and even complete strangers. When my mother was diagnosed with diabetes our family was disheartened but in the realisation of the long path that lay ahead in managing her lifelong condition I appreciated the hope that doctors gave us - that things could be better even if they were not perfect. I want to give people that hope, and when I discovered my love for science it was only natural that I felt medicine was the best-suited career for me.
I would like to become a physician because it is a career that is constantly evolving. As a physician, I would be expected to constantly learn new techniques and information to better care for future patients. I would also enjoy interacting with patients and affecting their lives
If you were to ask anyone in the medical field why they chose it, you would get the same answer from just about everyone. Their goals are all the same, because they all wanna help people and save lives. I have similar goals for myself. I believe everyone has the potential to make a difference, and I believe by becoming a doctor it would be my way to make a difference in the world. We are around the age when they start to ask us what we want to do with the rest of our lives, but I've known what I've wanted to be for a while now. I knew from the moment I was in the hospital with my grandfather right after he had open heart surgery that lt was the right career choice for me. I plan on becoming a
My immediate goals after being accepted into the academy include becoming knowledgeable in the basic skills of both the scientific field and the medical field. I hope to be challenged by courses that will help me build a foundation of intelligence for my future career. Using these skills I would like to be able to narrow down my choices in choosing an occupation. I realize that this
I think I would be good at this job because I like chemistry and investigating to find out new things. Medical pathologists should be a good thinker, be visual, be able to read pattern, determined, curious, and patient (Attributes of a Pathologist). Being a anatomical pathologist would be a lucrative
Many have suggested that being a doctor could make one rich, though I highly doubt this suggestion. First of all, money is needed to further my studies in university. Being a veterinarian also has many benefits; this includes being able to work with animals, getting a doctorate level degree, having a good paying job, and certain job benefits. Being able to work with animals is a benefit because veterinarians usually love to be around animals and jump at the chance to take care of them. The reason getting a doctorate level degree is a benefit is because that high level degree can get a good job, a higher income, and more benefits and help people stay healthy and have a good life.
Many school offer this careers. The types of schools that offer this career are medical and research schools. Here in Houston there is The Univeristy of Houston, which provides this career and or major. To be able to enroll
In addition to the aforementioned advantages, being a doctor, or taking up any profession in the medical field, pays considerably well. According to Lauren Friedman, the average “primary care doctor” earns a massive $195,000 per year. She adds that at the upper end of the spectrum, Orthopedic surgeons make a colossal $451,000 per year. However, it is prudent to remember that money doesn’t always satisfy. Even Ophthalmologists who make almost $300,000 per year on average divulge that they wish they had a weightier salary (Friedman).
Throughout my life, I have worked towards one goal which is to become a doctor. Medicine offers the opportunity for me to integrate different scopes of science while trying to improve human life. Medicine has intrigued me throughout all my life because it??s a never ending
