Why Is It Important To Be Successful

Every individual has accomplished achievements that they will always cherish. Whether the achievement is minimum or maximum , the significance of the triumph is of utmost importance to them. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is when I was blessed with opportunity to be picked as NASH student and observe the different physicians who helped with giving birth to the newborns. In those few seconds I realize that my passion is to become an OB Nurse Practitioner.

Every individual must face a self-actualization where he or she must define his or her own definition of success. I am successful according to my personal idea of success. I am at the first level of success in my life where I have become more responsible, have expanded my knowledge, and can critically think on my own. The events that I have noticed that have brought me to self-satisfaction were being a part of Girls’ Basketball, National Honor Society, and Life Care’s volunteer program.

Purchasing my first truck has been my greatest achievement so far. Working for almost 1 year, I had the ability to save enough money, to get myself astounding 2010 Ford edge. Through the journey of this, I learned how to manage my money properly but I build the trust of my parents and co-workers. My soon to be achievement will be graduating from Lopez ECHS and attending college at TSC, for me it will be a significant circumstance tome but also my family. Being the first generation in my family to go to college, high expectation are there to fulfill. Just as my older brother has giving me an example.

The greatest accomplishment to date would be me deciding to come back to college to continue to finish up my degree as a medical assistant. I had started back in 2014 and for economic and personal reasons was not able to continue my dream in becoming a medical assistant. Along my journey I had encounter many obstacles, but I decided that these obstacles would no longer interfere with me pursuing my career. My mindset had changed I was tired of living in a world that constantly wanted to make me into something other than myself. My most meaningful accomplishment happened on December 13, 2014 when I graduated from college. I measured my success based on the rates of a former foster care youth graduating college. I measured my success based on me being the first one in my family to graduate college. Graduating in the top ten percent of my high school class last May is something I am happy I was able to accomplish. Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success".
