I believe, as a student, that homework is just a tool that teachers use to keep us busy. Schools in America shouldn’t have homework. It has been proven to not help with test scores or school work, but what it does help with, is lowering students’ health. I believe that schools should assign little or no homework, It does little to help and more to hurt the students. For instance, most students don’t have computers and are financially unable to get one. This is unfair and can cause the student to be behind on their schoolwork. I believe that the school district should not get rid of homework. If the school district gets rid of homework, students will not get into good colleges and universities like their parents want them to.

Finally, I’m home from prison I finally get to hang out with my friends and not speak or learn about school until tomorrow, oh wait I have homework to do well I guess I am going to need to speak and learn about school. The concept of homework was created to help students with their schoolwork. Getting extra work for home allows students to truly understand what they learned during the day. It is additional practice for students and will help prepare them for tests and exams. Homework also teaches children important life skills such as responsibility and perseverance. Students will have to be responsible to get their homework done on time and with good quality. Homework is given often to students and this could create many issues with the students ways of learning. Students are easily stressed out with homework and it causes them to have poor health. Banning homework in schools of America would let students have more time to keep up with sports and extracurricular activities; and still maintain a high grade point average. If schools ban homework in America this would help students get their sleep, exercise and possess good healthier habits.
