I feel as though I am a good match for WPI’s distinctive educational and campus experience because first of all, WPI has an excellent Computer Science program and is easily the best college for this type of career. Your college has many opportunities for internships and employment in some outstanding companies. This shows how I can be almost guaranteed some type of job or internship by getting accepted into your college and completing all of the requirements necessary. WPI also has world class laboratories that will help me in truly understanding Computer Science and its impact. Another reason why I believe I am an exceptional candidate for admission in WPI is when I visited your college, I felt welcome. I felt as if I belonged there because
I hold a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering, General Option, from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. As a Cal Poly Pomona graduate, I have experienced team work, hands on projects, and leadership. During my school experience I have gained a deep understanding and established a strong background of Civil and construction engineering.
From numerous computer labs to professional leaders in research, there are opportunities that will allow me to achieve my academic goals at UM that would be otherwise unavailable.
In distinction to many other applicants, I have substantial amounts of work ethic, motivation, and responsibility. My academic performance and extracurricular accomplishments are a
UW-Madison is known for having classes and degrees for almost every job title. Of these degrees, a technological degree is the one that I am striving to acheieve. Since I was 8, I have been constantly interested in the potental and possiblilities that technology has to offer. I have been fixing computers, learning about them, as well as programming them as well as andriod and apple devices to get a better understanding of how they work. UW-Madison is one of the best programming and technological school in the entire Midwest, which would intrigue me to go there and study the passion that I have grown to love over the past 10 years.
It has every program I was looking for along with a gorgeous campus and it’s in close proximity to the sea.The innovative nature of UNCW is what really made me think UNCW is the school for me and give me an opportunity to explore different horizons and allow me to be
My initial interest was through the academic program, but what peaked provocation is the mission statement. I admire that an apparent goal is to learn from each other as community members and also from industry leaders. I think it is important to learn from each other, as your peers are sometimes the people you learn the most from. Additionally, I was pleased that students learn from people actively in their field of study. My favorite part of the mission statement is that students work to break the boundaries on real world issues. Many of the classes and activities I have been apart of in high school touch on this part of the mission statement; I think it is the most important part. There is no point in being educated if it is not to better the world in a positive way and I appreciate that at Syracuse that journey, to relate and impact the real world begins as a student. Overall I am eager to apply to Syracuse to embrace the opportunities it provides and to be apart of a network of brilliant people, through athletics, internships, classes, and social
In my opinion, UW-Green Bay is a perfect fit for me because of my personal skills and traits. I have always been a natural leader among my peers, and I have always been willing to help anyone in need. I respect every person I see with the same respect that I would prefer back, and I never give up when times get tough. I love both watching and playing athletics, meeting new people and creating new relationships, and thinking critically when problems ever arise. Because all the things I just listed are what make me, “me,” and I believe all these parts of me fit the mission statement for UW-Green Bay: with the goal to serve every student with an unforgettable educational experience and, “to think critically and address complex issues in a multicultural and evolving world.” I plan to one day become a medical doctor, in which I work my hardest every day to save lives and help people with the integrity, knowledge, and citizenship traits that make up my personality, traits that I believe will push my fellow students to become great students and even better people, overall making UW-Green Bay even more desireable and enriching then it already is. UW-Green Bay students are respectful, have integrity, are leaders of the workforce, and everything that I strive to become, which is why I believe definitely, “fit,” this

Tumultuous is the word I would use to describe my personal transition to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Maybe tumultuous exaggerates my experience slightly, but I did endure my fair share of highs and lows. I was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin which is about three hours from Eau Claire. As much as I thought I was prepared to leave the safety of home behind, I soon realized that my sense of security was false. It was probably week five that I had a little meltdown; I seriously questioned whether I wanted to be at Eau Claire or not. I’m an English Education major and examining the Appleton Area School District, and surrounding communities reveal that many of the educators in my desired teaching area graduated from Oshkosh. I

My interest in attending UNC Wilmington comes from many different reasons such as the variety of student organizations and clubs, campus location, and most importantly the different concentrations offered in the computer science major. UNC Wilmington, as suggested by friends and research I've conducted, is a great place that gives students a sense of belonging. Another factor that attracts me to UNC Wilmington is how simple it is to get involved in campus.
At Portland State University, my goal is to achieve a Bachelors of Science degree. My plan is to major in Computer Science. I am very interested in computer programming, and am currently learning python, as well as taking a computer science course at my school. Jobs related to computer science are also in high demand, which makes me excited for the future. Recently I visited PSU for the first time when I went to preview day, and what I saw inspired me to want to come here. The beautiful campus, the clubs, and the way PSU weaves itself into the community were just a few ways I was awed. The diversity I witnessed going through each building was inspiring. The different interests and talents of others was fascinating, and made me want to join
I have what it takes to be an AP student, being I have perpetually taken rigorous courses throughout my years in high school, and excelled in them. Moreover, I possess the qualities which an AP Student must have in order to strive, which are willingness to work extremely hard, be unyielding, as well have an excellent work ethic to handle the rigorous tasks given in an AP class. In addition, I have what it takes to be an AP student, due to I am self-driven to learn more about the subject I study, as well I am fully capable to excel and handle the accelerated pace of learning expected in an AP class. "Tomorrow is the first day of what I will become." I wrote this in my diary the night before my first day of college. I was anxious as I imagined the stereotypical college room: intellectual students, in-depth discussions about neat stuff, and of course, a casual professor sporting the tweed jacket with leather elbows. I was also ill as I foresaw myself drowning in a murky pool of reading assignments and finals, hearing a deep, depressing voice ask "What can you do with your life?" Since then, I've settled comfortably into the college "scene" and have treated myself to the myth that I'll hear my calling someday, and that my future will introduce itself to me with a hardy handshake. I can't completely rid my
